Bravo! Just incredibly gorgeous playing with the orchestra led by Maestro Grams, former conductor of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra in Elgin, Illinois USA who I had the pleasure of working with when I was a bassist with them. Gabriel, your sound reminds me of Gary Karr. Who made your instrument? You are amazing.
Bass does not sound like shit but like a string instrument. This bass player understood all. Its crazy to see still people who are saying "its not bass" because its warm and finnest 😂
Bravissimo‼️ amazing playing!!! One of the best performances of this concert ever! 🙏🏾💐

The smile at the end says it all. Bravo!

De toute beauté. Bravo Gabriel
Wonderful player. What bass does he play? Maybe an old English....
Hawkes?
13:26 it’s like a machine gun :)
Ohhh is that a sweat band on his forehead? Haha smart
Video title says Bottesini, but description says Koussevitsky.
Thanks for noticing, now it should show up correctly!
Plays rather like cello not a bass
Could you explain why?

The cello range ordeal, a challenge for bass repertoire to highlight lower frequencies!
That’s not a compliment for double bass
What does that mean?
The marks on the keyboard would be enough to put him in lower positions...
You play it then
I think it is more about judging with your ears than with your eyes.
