Taylor R’s Germany Tour 2012. I really don’t think there’s anything that captures the skill, friendship, adventure and fun that this hobby can bring to us. Great video Chris, you really are incredibly knowledgable about this.
Am Woob Dirge is one of my favs, my favorite video I was in was Flatface rendezvous 32, I'm the one with the orange button up shirt, jeans, and big hair! Another nice video from you!
Elias Assmuth at Night is my all time favourite video. i watched that thing 1000 times and still do it just touches on fingerboarding so much and shows the love and fun
dude, I've been looking for this exact video for years, remembering only few words from the song "dance me to the end of love" and a fade memory that it was the pinnacle of inspiration in these teenage days. Thank you a million, and my biggest respect to grandmaster cdplaya for making the history!
Ooooh my goodness!! I remember watching that kickflip over the planter thing at 10:01 so many times when it was on tech decks website!! My favorite fingerboard video is called “Enjoy” From Fb120. That one didn’t come out until I was already out of the scene in 2013, but somehow came across it through the RUclips rabbit hole.
My favorite fingerboard videos are The Outdoor Adventure and My Park in Action by Harold Schon (two of the first fingerboard videos I saw) and also that BIG Opus vid by Alexis Milant, and the one he did with Elias. There was another one i really liked don't remember what it was called but the song used in the video was Two Weeks by Grizzly Bear. Banger video as always.
Fingers of Fury & Flying Fingers were big inspirations for us when they came out. I guess I'll have to finally watch Finger Freaks to complete "The Great 'FF' Trilogy of '99" lol
Yes, those two videos completely shaped my fingerboarding! When Tech Deck first came out, my friends and I would tap the tail with our hand and then control the board to do tricks. Kinda like a karate cop 😂 we all changed our style after seeing how they fingerboarded!
My fave was a video that I believe was called "history of fingerboarding" or "story of fingerboarding"...something along the lines of that. The song in it was Mongoloid by Devo and the uploader had clips of his homemade decks in the early 90s up until Tech Decks came out in the late 90s/2000s.
Does anybody remember a video form the early days that features the song Cars by Gary Newman? It one of my favorite videos ever and it’s impossible to find
Only fingerboard video I go back to over years is "enjoy" video by fb120. Such a beautiful part. I also do really like videos by Lionel Simon, dbld_fb, and handrew. By saying video, I mean a part longer than a minute with editing and music.
@@cdplaya MITT Fingerboards in Poland. They was making wooden fingerboards from the early 00', and saw them still available in 26-27mm on their site :). Still have one from that time in my collection tho!
My fav fb vid was called ‘just a flat bar’ or something like that and the simplistic nature of the obstacle was just hidden by the rider
Every video from Sam aronie was my childhood, specially that one: berlinwood new mold review by mike schneider.
Sam makes amazing videos, and his style is insane!
Your videos are my childhood
Oh and just watched your latest RUclips video and I can see some Sam in your style. That's a very good thing!
That internet dial up tone had me laughing for real! Great vid Chris!
Thank you Sid!

Epic video! I wish I would have gone on the same trip as him haha
My favorit video has to be: Elias Assmuth at the Harric's. Absolute masterpiece!
My favourite fingerboard video is Fingers of Fury. I still have it on VHS but no VHS player! 😀
Haha! I have the tape... but no VHS as well 😅😂
Am Woob Dirge is one of my favs, my favorite video I was in was Flatface rendezvous 32, I'm the one with the orange button up shirt, jeans, and big hair! Another nice video from you!
Thank you! I'll watch the Vous 32 vid shortly and keep an eye out for you!
@@cdplaya alright! it's kind of easy to find me because there's only about three people with an orange shirt.
Woob dirge is fantastic lol
Ya it is! Those two half pipes are so cool.
Adore this videos! Keep killin it
Thank you - appreciate you taking the time to letting me know 😁

Yes!!! Shoji is amazing! I hope he films more edits in the future.
This was amazing
Thank you, Mike!!
Hmmm I wonder what will happen in part 2 of this video... 🤔🤔
This skat toy is very good, I already manipulated it, thank you very much for sharing.
Not a full length but Eric Smith's Crime In Choir has been a video I frequent when I need some motivation even after all these years
My favorite fingerboards vid is an edit from chubymuffin where every trick is synchronised with the music
favourite videos are any of Sasha Dotchevs desk edits from back in the day such good style

Those videos will be in my part 2! The Opus video is the one that I referred to that changed the fingerboard edit game :D
The weeks by grizzly bear was in the Elias Assmuth at the Harric's video.
@DDw This is true. That is one of my favorite videos as well, but I'm thinking of a different video.
Keep killing it

Tony Pauthex owns a skateshop in Dijon france, Shifty boardshop. He's the chillest guy and still skates and fingerskates
Yes! He is a legend!
Absolutely love your videos. just popping back into the game and you my boy make 🔥 content.thank you for all the history and the present.
Appreciate that! Welcome back ✌️😁
Dimitrie Schlotthauer at the Harric's... and Elias Assmuth at the Harric's. It feels like watching skateboarding ! :D):
Yes those videos are epic! Speaking of epic - so is your Opus series!
My fave was a video that I believe was called "history of fingerboarding" or "story of fingerboarding"...something along the lines of that. The song in it was Mongoloid by Devo and the uploader had clips of his homemade decks in the early 90s up until Tech Decks came out in the late 90s/2000s.
That video was by Denis Stimac! His RUclips channel is Skateboard Naked 😁
"2022 street part straps tv" is prolly the best video of displaying fingerboarding
Great video man
Thank you!
sick man love the channel
My Fav Video is the King Of Berlin 23 - Bobinnwoods. Must have to Watch it again 😂
Does anybody remember a video form the early days that features the song Cars by Gary Newman? It one of my favorite videos ever and it’s impossible to find
About what year if you recall?
@@cdplaya early aughts for sure no later than 2009 I think it’s was called ‘Cars’ too if I’m not mistaken
my favorite video of fingerboarding is your board collection video or mike schniders 2011 berlinwood review
Glad you liked the collection video!!

That's a great video!
Does anyone know, where I can find wooden 26mm decks?
Hmm, I'm not sure who makes 26/27mm anymore but I would love to cop one too haha
My first comment disappeared somehow... but d'oh out of ukraine makes 24mm-60mm depending on concave style :-)

Thank you!!

Im thinking about starting a fingerboard shop if i sent you a board would you test it out??
I think that old storm videos are the best! Too much steez per one video
