I love how clearly we can hear her taps! She also had so much energy.
In full, this choreography looks so much more competitive and nicer! And it fits SO much better with this music.

I don’t hate the dance, I just don’t think it’s as impressive as some people say it is. (Tapper, here.)
“Game of Love” is much more difficult, and I think that’s a stronger number than this one.
Plus, the music they put it to on the show made it seem like she was way off-timing, which was their fault.
Wish everyone that hates this dance sees this. This is WYAYYY better than it looks on the show.
Watching this, it’s so good with the better music! I don’t think she actually danced to this song on the show, since the timing is a bit different, but it’s really interesting to see how the choreo was adapted for each song! (It’s the same choreo, just adjusted to fit the timing of each song)

the only hard thing her are the one legged wings,everything else is just simple tricks speed up,not a professional but i can tell it too

That was fabulous. I particularly loved the 4 beat wings. (3 beat wing from one foot with a toe tap)
Wings are incredibly difficult to do and to do well. I could do them from two feet but I could never quite sound them as well as 3 beat wings from 2 feet (that was an examination exercise when I took dance... now the British Association of Teachers of Dancing don't even do grades for tap any more.)
the one on the show is literally my least favourite dance but with the correct music it’s SO entertaining! crazy what fitting music does for a piece

the problem with the the on show version wasnt the costume, the music or abbys weave it was her energy level and she clearly had more energy here than she did on the show
yes,also if you watch kenzie sink or swim,she had more energy here at the recital too(in this case i prefer the show version)

that is much better than the show version but it's still very underwhelming,i never really liked maddie but loved her tap,but then it worsened,i prefer the solos she got before the show(rhytm in my nursery rhymes,sunsine and lollipops,u.s.o show,airmail special) than this,because they weren't only executed pretty well for a kid but also were more difficult than the average tapper at her age,she did so much better during those,honestly the only tap solo between the three new solos she had during the show was the game of love,i got everything i got from a maddie solo,the choreo,execution and music(not the costume lmao). but this one... overly underwhelming by whoever choreographed that,it was extremely easy for maddie tbh,and let's not talk about the execution which wasn't the best
I imagine she did less and less tap as the show became a time-demanding well oiled machine and Maddie got more and more work outside of it. Most the of the dancing on the show was jazz/lyrical/contemporary. I think when they initially went out to LA they weren't even taking classes because Abby hadn't opened the school yet. None of the jobs she got involved tap. So yeah I guess that led to her stagnation.
