So much I can relate to on your trip. Only thing missing on your cold night was getting up to pee 3 times, lol.
I realized I enjoy the adventure more by emphasizing on quality, not being one of those credit card distance bangers.
Yep, bring a chair, fishing rod, packraft, etc. I don't mind hauling all the weight up the hills, she sure flies down though.
I don't regret the fat tires either, pushing skinny tires through miles of sand or mud sucks. Easier to flat too.
I'm planning on a fall trip in Temagami area again.

Thanks for watching. I see you have some video adventures, too. I just subbed and plan to watch one of them tonight. I hear Temagami is great. I'm planning my fall trips now. Perhaps we'll cross paths somewhere.

@@p3outdoors I'm in North Bay if you ever need a base to venture from. I'll volunteer to be cameraman or stunt double, lol.
Many of my riding buddies are busy with the kids, or some just got old and lazy.
I've done some canoe trips up that way as well, but been too lazy to film any of those.

@TapioBlue Thank you. I might just need a venture base sometime. North Bay area does have some canoe routes that interest me. I hear you. Filming/editing is a lot of work for sure.

My understanding is you weren't on the. Pere Marquette Rail Trail but the Pere Marquette State Trail. Per Marquette Rail trail runs from Midland to Clare Michigan. Once you are past the Clare gap and pick the trailer up again just west of Farwell you are now on the Pere Marquette State Trail. Please someone correct me if wrong. Kinda matters for doing research on these trails. I was always puzzled why I could not find any online information about the Pers Marquette Rail Trail west of Claire until I rode it. Well- because west of Clare the Pere Marquette Rail Trail doesn't exist but the Pere Marquette State Trail does.

@davejohn5876 you are correct. I just checked the OnX digital map, and it calls it Pere Marquette STATE trail to the west of Farwell. It calls it P.M. "Rail" Trail to the east. Thank you for pointing out that detail.

@maverick6923 Hi. I'm in Canada on a canoe adventure at the moment. The video just needs some finishing touches when I get back, and it will be uploaded. Thanks for your patience, and I hope you will enjoy it. Nice to hear from you.

Nice video. I think you’re guilty of what many of us did: You brought too much stuff. FYI I started out with about 40# of stuff. Now have a lot more fun with 20# of stuff for summer trips. I suggest you do the same.

@@kennyness8881 Thank you, and thanks for the advice. I definitely wouldn't mind a lighter load.

Wow those big tires are cool but i assume they're heavy?

@@BiKEnBiTES your assumption is correct, but they sure do well on soft ground. That whole setup with gear is about 105#. Thanks for watching.
