Best advice i've ever heard about a photography workflow (or generally art freelance) is to do the work as fast as you can and then bury if for few days on your hard drive. Unless the client ask specifically for quick turnover, you can play the game of hard work and have a time for yourself. Oh and one pack of corrections for free and then 10-20% of your rate. Cut's those "oh maybe we should try this or change that" mails drastically.
Type A is the perfect future anxious or burn out victim. You need to be in the present. With direction and long therm projects, yes, but too many ideas in your mind can be very dangerous.
I am definitely a type B enjoying the journey and experiences creating without schedules. No clients beating me up on schedules!
