@@BenjaminKellett Just enjoy flying and enjoy life, motivation comes and goes, you don't owe us anything. you make videos when you feel like it, that's when the magic happen. Fantastic! Consistently the best XC paragliding content there is. Love your work Ben! Thank you for taking the time and making the effort, much appreciated. Keep talking to yourself while paragliding 👍
Man that's the pinnacle of enjoyment, almost feels euphoric just to watch. Definitely great filmmaking, always feel as though I was back flying in Europe with your narrative of course. Another auto-dialogue, narrated flight tour by Benjamin Kellet. You speak to us, not another " vid of Ben talking to himself " as introduced, funny but untrue, we as earth-bound misfits, savour the comfortably-numb, footages and stories.Minus the circulation returning to the digits pain! Thanks for your hard work and sensible judgments in achieving all you do, you lead by unsurpassed example. Making everyone a better off human, whether or not they choose to apply your skillful advices to paeagliding or not.Vancouver B.C. peace-out! Gratitude, and "that's right!"@%^&)(beastie boys)
As always, you are creating the best paragliding content for XC, i just wish you give always more explaining regarding xc tips and decisions for beginners like me :)
Oh ! Same day, exact same takeoff than my first 100km beginner flight what was suppose to be just a site discover flight. And today I'm in NZ to try to fly to your home paragliding sites, because your videos inspired me. So great what the life and paragliding can offer to us !
glider pilot here. Have been flying the Wallis coming from the Mattervalley a lot (at least 50x) and I found that the fastest way (for Gliders) to Furka/Oberalp is in 80% on the south side of the valley and not the north. It looks often much better on the north side but south side gives very consistent lifts if you are really following the highest ridge there. But this may also be due to the time I am flying there (mostly arriving after 2pm).
Haha i was wondering, when this video comes out 😄 well, i didnt pull your leg when i told you the TMA was closed 😂 glad you had also a great flight 🥳 Was nice meeting you in Person
Beautiful footage. Absolutely love your videos. It’s like going on the XC adventures with you. I’m struggling to get over 20 mile triangle’s, so watching these mind blowing 200km + triangles just shows how much I have to look forward to.
@@BenjaminKellett absolutely. Can’t expect to being flying 100 Km + in your first 100 hours. Some people might, but it also has a lot to do with where you are flying. I live near the western side of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. It’s quite challenging air in summer, and still very challenging in spring and fall. But learning how to fly XC in this place will make flying XC in other locations very easy, at least that’s what the very experienced pilots that I get to fly with say. Hopefully I’ll finish some tasks next season. I’ve gotten really close to finishing a couple this year, just taking one step at a time, and loving the experience.
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing this epic beauty. Your short videos are great too but I was really excited this morning to see that this was a full length horizontal one. Must be a ton of work to put these together, we sure appreciate it!
Ah thanks mate! Yeah it takes some time, especially with the 360 stuff so just taken me a while to find motivation for it 🤣 been chipping away at this one for a while but finally some awful weather in NZ so had time to punch it out! I'll start the next one now, hopefully it'll be a bit quicker this time haha
That was epic Ben The editing solid as always. I used to hate landing and forgetting to get y to he legs ready. I started pg 30 years ago, sure wish we had the kit back then that’s available these days, lol. Don’t pg too much now but fly my ppg on the regular. I’m 60 and still love it. Thanks for the sweet ride man!! 🇨🇦✌️
Thanks for this great route overview! I haven't had a chance to fly in Wallis yet but always wanted to. Your video will definitely help me plan my route - one thing is to study the tracklogs, but it's way better to see it "live". Kudos!
Epic times man! just ordered a new zeolite2 too waiting on shipping..can't wait. Cheers mate love your videos:-) You ever make your way by San Diego drop me a line
That's actually a _really_ good view/like ratio. Even 4% is considered good. If you go looking I doubt you'll find a lot of paragliding videos with better ratios than this, so there's no reason to be offended on Ben's behalf 🙂
Baist just arrived in the mail, your code worked great, thanks! It was 0*C on launch last weekend in Western Massachusetts. Looking forward to flying with these.
A beauty once again. Question I have wondered when I saw you made this trip to Europe. Are there confusing moments when switching between southern and northern hemisphere since you're used to N faces in stead of S faces ?
Yeah a little bit haha, it takes me a couple of days I've been caught out a couple of times whilst in the planning stage, looking at maps etc but otherwise on the day it's fairly intuitive. It's more difficult remembering the correct side of the road to drive on 🤣
Battery heated gloves are the way to go. You can keep them on low to medium and you're good for hours. Your wrist warms the battery so it never gets cold. Or you can upgrade to bigger batteries that are stored in an inner jacket pocket.
crazy video, great quality of editing, the camera fix orientation is sick aswell, congrats!! Do you know if it´s legal in switzerland to fly with a paramotor?? thaanks

잘봤습니다. 당신의 비행을 전부 시청하고 있는 중 입니다😊
It's hard to believe only 384 persons liked this video when 2.4k watched it till now. What are people expecting from a paragliding video?

Brilliant video!!! Can you share how you've mounted your 360? Been looking for a riser mount that isn't too line snaggy!!
They’re all a bit snaggy. There’s links in the description of what I use
