Realistically it makes more sense to purchase a nearly new Corsa-E, better equipped, better range, more practical, and currently here in the UK can be yours for about £14k (17k euro) for a 2024 model with less than 10k miles.
Agreed a used or nearly new competent EV will be more effective though I think the Spring will make a bargain used vehicle as they have such a limited operating window they will depreciate to a point quickly though a bit of competition wouldnt go amiss. Rather have a Mii Citigo or Up personally.
Totally agree here - love the fun and form factor of the spring but when you can get a practically new corsa-E or Nissan leaf for the same price it’s hard to go for this for its compromises. Given they have discounted demo cars by £3k last week hopefully they will be sub-£10k when it starts to make sense again
@ElectricOnWheels That's quite slow given that most cheap rate charging is for only 4-5 hours and the whole rationale for the Spring us economical motoring.
We have one of these in the UK and my friend perfectly described it as a French utility vehicle and something like a 21st century Citroen 2CV.
I’ve also got one and it’s amazing. The wife loves it 😊

Never liked the pattern on the plastic bumpers. Looks like some Newspaper got stuck to it.
I agree - there was some chat when it first launched that other stickers would be available but haven’t heard anything as yet
Range and battery size, is the same?
someone should do an updated crash test since Dacia will not re-test until 2027
How quickly will it home charge on a 7kw charger?
With 3.6 kw so around 8 hours.
