FPV pilot here. One of the things that makes FPV footage look like you're going super fast (which you kind of are since you usually cruise between 50-100 kph and top out close to 160kph) is that we usually are flying in proximity to the ground or objects. From this video, it looks like you're still flying pretty high compared to what an FPV pilot would usually fly at.
Ah ye that's a good point. I actually did keep trying to take it down a little but I do feel this drone seems to drag up easily. Like when I was flying through the trees I was trying to go low. But I will keep that in mind and fly lower next time. Thanks
just it’s not that responsive but it reaches 74 kmph the air 3 and FPV drones are way way fast 😅But if I disengage the sensors by going into sport mode still it doesn’t allow me to go into narrow spaces . But it can reach some crazy heights . Since I don’t know about FPV drones how high one can go ????????
@@PanosAgamemnos where the 3 fly settings cine, normal, sport ... can tweek the rates some to get closer to "FPV" say you will get 10-15% more haven't don't a comparison but there is a noticeable difference.
I think it depends what you are shooting. If you would like a birds view then it can be interesting but if you are going for a classic cinematic shot then horizon lock works better.
I don’t know why someone doesn’t make a drone that can truly be both normal and FPV. Mini 3 pro and Air 3 can now be used with goggles, but they lack the speed of FPV. Should be possible to have it all in one.
I get what you are saying but I guess it's like cars. You can't have a sports car and an off road car at the same time as they are built for different things.
yeah but then you'd end up with shit battery life. it's like trying to build a hypercar that can also carry luggage and drive long road trips without having to refuel
Avata 2 is close, but the stabilizing gimbal is your limiting factor, it would need to be locked into place somehow otherwise the gforces would rip it up. But in general you really need a dedicated fpv drone without all the sensors and things adding weight.
Lol. I was actully going to try thIs out with my macic pro I'm sure its nothing close to FPV but might be some fun with a pro cause the camera guaily going to try it ps I fly thumbs I'm a live long COD player also I just have way more control with my thumbs but we're all different fly what ever tour better at
Ye I think it is great to get different shot styles so worth a try. Haha same for me, years or Mario Kart I feel like my thumbs are the most muscular part of my body.
The only feature what DJI is not giving us for real FPV experience: pointing the camera down when flying down, or up when flying up. For that you have to get the Goggles + Motion Controller 2 combo: when using the Motion Conroller, pointing it down will also drop down the camera (just released a video comparing those two modes here a few weeks ago).

possible we will get the “vision assist” mode for air line?
You mean you would like me to do a video on it?
@@PanosAgamemnos is the function available for Air 3? it is just so for Mavic line.
Do you mean vision assist?
@@PanosAgamemnos yes vision assist.
@@swcblad Yes it has full 360 assist although I would not rely on it. It has hit things multiple times for me.

I think the air 3 is a lot slower than an fpv drone though
go into settings on sport and set all you angles rates and stuff
To what?

@@PanosAgamemnos found this because I want to see if anyone tried to fly Air 3 FPV...
I am planning to get the Air 3 because the Avata is unstable at higher altitudes with stronger winds. Get the Avata. Its fun.
Ah ye I was thinking about getting the Avatar. Maybe some point down the line.
Is there any way to turn off the horizon lock on the Air 3 camera so the footage does seem to be from a flying tripod?@@PanosAgamemnos
@@DavidCheok yes that is what this video is about. When you enable FPV mode it disables horizon lock.
It might look fantastic at high altitudes. Like a plane.
Thanks
Tried it a few times with my air 3. Bit of a novelty I think. Have never used any of the footage taken.

Yes that is true. You can move the camera up and down with the left shoulder wheel but it wont move with the drone.
