I would use sandboxx, but I really like the touch of a handwritten letter, and I've been using different colored pens, adding doodles, a few photos etc (hoping he doesn't get in trouble for that!) But that's just my personal preference. I really hope it doesn't take 7 days for him to get my letters, when I looked it up it seemed more like 2 or 3, but probably depends on how close you live to the base. Thank you for all your videos! I started watching them when I was enlisting, and although that plan fell apart, I've been watching all of them while my bf has been at basic and it helps to know what he might be doing :)
My nephew is in basic in the Army and i used Sandbox for him. He stated the Army stated that it is not secure and not to use it. Stated gave away his location even in basic. I'm not sure it they just did not want people to get mail or not he stated my letters are getting to him but not his mothers who is using regular mail. Any insight on this, as I do not want to get him in trouble.
Nope. They just add a stamp to the pre addressed letter in the one they received from you. It does take longer to come back. Depends on how far you live from San Antonio.

When I was in, withholding mail was a BIG no no.
I would volunteer for fire guard in Army basic and would write my letters at that time.
we weren't allowed, but ppl would still do it. me...noooo way! I wasn't trying to get caught haha
What week do you actually start receiving letters? Do they make you wait a few weeks, or can it already be on week 0?

Does the person who is going off to boot camp have to download sandbox as well to recieve mail?
