Those string ends are setting off my anxiety What kind of monster...? Hell of a player, and actually managed to explain what the hell the Butler does (well enough that I want one, if only to save myself a bit of room) The Terror Stamp has my attention and all
Morgan Nicholls is the reason I took up the bass. Absolutely loved Senseless Things... I urge people to check them out if they aren't familiar with them. Empire of the Senseless is a great place to start although the song Too Much Kissing is a must for people with an interest in bass
This newer pedal board amps and micro amps of course the "ideal sound", but it's amazing how much better they sound than fairly expensive mid level stuff did even 15 years ago.
I remember standing at the Virgin Records in the early 90s listening to the first track on Empire Of The Senseless and thinking what a cracking Bass player he was...
That Stamp is darn appealing, price-wise, and it happens I do need another little pre-amp for a current project. 🎸 Traded off my Micro Terror for a guitar a while back, its been missed.
He said you could dial in the top end from a guitar amp circuit with the low end of the bass circuit so you can fine tune your tone either more or no guitar top end.
It's a preamp pedal that has a bass amp circuit and a guitar amp circuit. The bass amp circuit is always on and when you switch the pedal on it adds in the guitar amp circuit. He also had an expression pedal plugged in to Bass Butler that allows you to always have the pedal switched on and control how much of the guitar amp circuit you want by using the expression pedal. You would use it to make the higher notes "growl" I suppose. After watching this, I'm suspecting Cliff Burton may have used a setup like this in the Anesthesia bass solo track in conjunction with a wah for those wailing bits. Maybe you could physically put the bass butler's expression pedal right next to the wah pedal so you can control both at the same time, just put your foot in the middle and make that bass scream like a banshee
Dual-feed preamp. I would run it into a CS800, with four EVM12Ls on the high feed and four EVM15Ls on the low side. Just a couple clean dry guitar channels. 🎸 Most everyone else would do it differently, I reckon. I probably would too, if I could afford better gear. ruclips.net/user/redirect?redir_token=JN11POyjpnPE6DBTTP8VVsCXsjJ8MTU4MDc1MzI4OEAxNTgwNjY2ODg4&event=video_description&v=_GDqasm5gEg&q=https%3A%2F%2Ftinyurl.com%2Fsa3h5on

Ade singlehandedly bringing back the early 70's.
Bea's fro outlining the NAMM logo in the corner of this thumbnail is slaying me.
That HAD to have been deliberate. 😄
Rabea deserves an award for his perfect mic placement skills :D
Ade is the embodyment of Orange
Mr. Cooper found the right guy, or at least they are doing things the way I want them to. No complaints here.
uncompromising ideal

My favourite bassist too. Incredible player.
0:31 I think someone's an Entwistle fan.
Apparently here in the States, they're gonna sell for $199 American dollars. Just $10 more than the Micro Dark.

Absolutely nailed Rammstein!
That Terror Stamp sounds amazing.

Anyone know what bass he is playing there please?!
Cheers in advance
Looks like a Status to me. Morgan stood in for Chris Wolstenholme in Muse, so it could be his sig model
stratocaster

Think it is a Status but IIRC Morgan’s been playing them since the mid ‘90’s

Ok. What is the “Bass Butler?”
How would one use it?
It is a companion pedal to go with the Orange Little Bass Thing amp.
