I love sherpy. He’s an old man but he still acts like a young dog considering he’s 11. I hope he stays healthy and has a really long time still. My dog was 16 when she passed. He’s so loud. 😂

REGARDING Sherpa slipping...you might have a groomer (or if you can do it yourself) trim the fur between and around his toes on the bottom of his feet. Sometimes if it's getting long, it's like having slippery socks on...keeping the fur trimmed gives them more traction.
