We, the taxpayers are being ripped off! Yes, Minister. Were overpaying fatcat's on taxpayer welfare support are we? Yes, Prime Minister. Toss in the Optus stopping Vodafone & Telstra tie up and I think this is a reward for a job well done by the NBN supporting the bullshizza idea of competition. Now we have a Optus & Vodafone propsed tie up that does nothing to get competition into the bush as the NoBloodyNetowrk soldiers on with ever growing prices that make going 4G/5G or STARLINK still viable in 2024/25

Well another one bites the dust I guess it doesn't really matter who takes over for him it's not like we are gonna get any changes to what the NBN is still overpriced for what you get especially when it comes to upload speeds

@seqvirtualtours406 she worked for chorus and thay have symmetrical speeds (including 2gbps, 4gbps and 8gbps plans) and you know what... the 4gbps plan is the same price as the 1000/50 plans here.
But its unlikely they will lower prices and raise speeds. It's all a money game for them

Well considering NBN Co are about 8 months behind and counting I'm not sure the CEO was a good choice on a replacement.
So someone who is setting policies for a "public company" ( government ) will, after setting those policies, move to a "private" ( not the same government ) company.
Better review his work for the last couple of years.
Happens regularly, the woman in US Gov who makes up the one - person 'review board' for funding the space race, spent 3 years shovelling mountains of money at spacex before promptly taking up vice presidents job there. There's hundreds of examples of the same happening in Oz just in recent politics.
