Pretty good Amazfit for its first watch with HRV and score, let's not forget that Garmin was horrible at first with Body Battery and recovery score.
Instead of readiness calculations, compare the data points that drive it. In this case, how do the watches compare in capturing the sleep stages…
This is somethings future updates will iron out Garmin is overrated this is a way better bang for your buck.
Should I go with this over the Apple Watch SE 2 or Series 9? I just don't want to bother to charge my apple watch every single day. I would prefer the longer battery of an amazfit smartwatch.
Hello, sorry for the English. Congratulations on the video.
I'm about to buy the Amazfit Cheetah Pro, more intended for running, which came out a few months ago.
Is it similar to the balance or does it have improvements in stability, GPS, HR, etc.?
I have the first amazfit gts, for about 5 years, and it reads my sleep perfectly. I had scores of 40 in nights like you described. My guess is that you’ve been wearing the garmin for a long time, and it studied your body. Wear the Amazfit for a few months straight and i guarantee it will improve in accuracy.
How's the battery holding up after 5 years? Still lasts a few days? I'm thinking of getting this Balance model.
which Garmin watch did you use in this comparison?
Good first attempt by Amazfit, I think Garmin is considered relatively accurate for HR and HRV so, it's good that it follows the same trend but it would be better if it was closer to the absolute numbers
Well, I would say it's the first good one of many attempts! They have been doing watches for forever it seems really, but this one is getting closer to functionally useful! Thanks so much for commenting!
@@fitgearhunterIm going to save up to get venu 3. For now I’ll stick with my pace 3
Don't you have to have the aura subscription to be able to use this feature.
Ok but when you look at the Quantified Scientist's tests it turns out that Garmins are not really so accurate. Their strenght is GPS but HR and sleep - not so much. So is balance worse or better than Garmin that you tested?
This is why i switched to amazfit. I want to be motivated not demoralized 😂
can you track naps 24/7? is there a minimum period of sleep time for it to trigger the nap recording?
Hey! I'm not sure that's a good question!
@@fitgearhunter thank you!
Compare readiness amazfit vs readiness garmin
I did but Balance readiness is focused on completely different metrics and mentality. It aligns much more with body battery or WHOOP recovery. It doesn't take into account any training specifics, so Garmin's training readiness was wildly different
@@fitgearhunter thanks you for information
