So great to see and hear a singer that can actually sing. Not like the so called singer today. I tell you our generation got cheated so bad. Our grandparents got Elvis, Nat Cole, Jerry Vale, Patsy Cline and so on..... Drove a better looking car. What do we got Beiber and plastic car.

Very truly well said about the singing style of JERRY VALE . His voice has a unique tenor sound that evokes excitement because he really is so expressive and animated in his love songs that you instantly fall in love with his amazing voice!
The years have taken away his magnificent style, but he will be remembered for songs that have kept loving families together because of his inspirational and passionate manner that leaves a lasting impression on people that loves his songs! He has sang so many Italian songs that are unforgettable.....

Ruth, U certainly know your music, Jerry spent the majority of time in Vegas, and went on the road during the summer months mostly in the Northeast, to sum things up JERRY VALE WAS THE MASTER OF THE VOCAL CORDS AS WELL AS THE DEAN OF ALL MALE RECORDING ARTISTS, I can attest to that because I was fortunate enough to see Jerry live approximately two dozen times, he also had a great personality and was great at telling jokes, HE WAS SIMPLY AMAZING.

@@metropcs5020 Thanks for your reply. I live in England, where sadly Jerry Vale is not well known - unlike Sinatra or Tony Bennett. There are no radio stations here that play crooners such as Jerry - it is either classical music or mainstream pop, so generations are missing out on his great music. I have been trying hard to spread the word about Jerry wherever I go and my friends love him. I am a member of The Amazing Jerry Vale Facebook group which keeps his music alive. Best wishes, Ruth.

I totally agree. Never got the recognition he deserved. He had a velvety voice, such as a full-bodied and rounded voice with a lot of warm, rich, tones. And then the range he had! It went to those high notes without ever straining or sounding thing. - Just rich and full bodied like he could hold it forever and then blomed rich like a rose in full bloom. When your ears filled with that rich sound, the joys of the world bloomed inside you too. He was the best of the best and totally never got the credit he deserved!!
