He could've saw it coming though, he saw the boneyard when he first came to kill the DK, then he just let Grubby be for too long

Me, personally ?? Had I been the Human player, I would have just assumed that these were *Slaughterhouses...*
But even besides this point of whether he did see the BoneYards or not:
I think that his unit-comp response was actually *NOT BAD* , epsecially considering his tri-hero choice and Grubby's underleveled DK...
*Theoretically AND practically* , he SHOULD have won this game, and I'm still kinda in awe of what WIZARDRY this was that Grubby pulled... :O

I think he was ok, until he decided to sacrifice his MK solo against full army. And even then he should be ok, but decided to sacrifice an archmage

I had a nasty worm rash when I was a kid, got it from playing in the neighborhood with lots of dogs and strays. It went away but there's still a scar from the steroid cream I used.
That scar is now your sacrifical pit

@@MrSieben52only hippo riders can counter rush worms as NE ? Edit ; I mean as air unit.
@@saimyintmyat9373 I suppose dryads would be good too, maybe even better, since they are immune to magic. Also, druids of the talon might be able to do the job.
But I'm not sure, I'm not a pro gamer, just a casual watcher of Grubby's vids ^^
@@MrSieben52 dryads are the most useful here as ground units.. I'm wondering for air unit. Xd .
@@saimyintmyat9373 I've run a couple of tests. Apparently, 6 fully upgraded hippos are enough to take down 4 fully upgraded wyrms, but 6 talons won't suffice. Also, you have faerie dragons who are immune to magic but it will take forever since they inflict very low damage
That first footmen kill was so cringe. It reminded me of how I play 🤣

I hate getting worm rashed. First I have to apply a hand warmer to the area of infection, then parasite removal cream. From there, I have to take daily antibiotics for a week, and even then there's no guarantee of a full recovery

Part of that simplicity this whole game is trying to play on is a big part why I'm so excited for Stormgate. Of course it won't be as innocent as back then and honestly it probably wont even last a week but it's exciting nonetheless.

why did we win that? wasting resources on towers, no creeping, building one type of unit. I know Grubz wins with odd strategies because of micro/macro and game knowledge but it looks like he didn't use any of that this game?

If i had to say so, he didn't realized that grubby was going for mass wyrm and didn't build the right army, by the time grubby attacked it was too late
Only one/two dragonhawk and no spellbreaker which are immune to wyrm attacks
Well human player was a bit passive, he could have used all that time to expand or get some mortars for the towers.
Also, the dragon-hawks stasis would have been really good in conjunction with all those rifles after getting 3 or 4 hawks, instead he just let them die
a lot of it is just skill diff. until very high levels people just constantly offer unit and hero sacrifices and that's really what decided this game.
just count how many dhawks died doing nothing or engaging without any of his other units. he also let his hero's die for nothing.
his composition and playstyle realistically would've been fine for countering even if not close to being optimal, but his skill in executing was just bad.

Kinda. Grubby used sappers by some "hero only" challenges. i think landmines arent available in common pvp matches.

The beginning didn't make any sense to a cute little nooblet like me, imagine scouting LMAO u coulda gotten 40 wood from that worker dude instead, GOOD JOB LOSING LUMBER FOR A BURROWimagine even wasting a single footmen when it could have killed that green/yellow camp 5 seconds earlier if he was with ur hero... Imagine scouting bro LOL sometimes it happens you just make the best army you can think of and sometimes the enemy ends up making something that counters you, you just take it like a man and move to the next game instead of being a rat and trying to "lets just see what hes doing first kekeke". NO!! A real man already decided what he was going to do upfront and then he does it.
