Have you tried the Mighty Hoop Tubular Support bar when using your Mighty Hoops? I have found it to be very useful in helping support the front of the hoop.

For the brothers they don't like the heavy hoop what you need is the tubular Hoop support that is only made for brother machines. Sensor problem will be fixed.

It actually does it with any hoop, I have them mostly working again so 🤞.

@Country View Monograms w/ Ashley I was replacing my sensors regularly found this tubular hoop support. It stays on my machine now always with all hoops. They only make this hoop support for brothers.

I was pleased that you spoke about the sensor in your 10 needle machines…. Is this something that you will budget to repair or just keep “ making it work” as is???

Yay for budgets! Also what do you do with your "oops" items? Do you include along with the actual item for the customer to wear as a "bum around" jacket or just toss? I never know what to do with mine but sometimes I'll ask the customer if they want it for play clothes for the child, etc.

It kinda depends on what type of "oops", honestly. If I made something the wrong color, font, etc, I just throw it in with the corrected item and a note that it is an oops and they're welcome to use it if they'd like or dispose of if not. If it's a very minor flaw (like I noticed a spot on the white fabric I used on a unicorn shirt recently), I also include those with a note on what's wrong, they can then decide. If I did the wrong size, spelled something wrong, stitch issues, stitched through something, etc, I just pitch it (or keep for myself if I need test fabric of that material).

@@AshleyMonograms thank you! Good idea using some for test fabric, etc!

The colorful dot placement stickers? They are from Allstitch! allstitch.com/?ref=cdbbpbgb8epa

I was pleased you spoke about the sensor issues on both your 10 needle machines…. Is this something that you will have repaired or will you continue to trick the machine into working??? At what point does it become cost effective to fix? Thank you !

I will have the tech look at it when I have them serviced this spring/summer. I'm not sure if it will need to be replaced or just adjusted/cleaned. For now, I just "trick" it into working! I did get the one to recognize a little better a couple days later with some fine adjustments on the hoop settings.
