Fair point. It's true the online world isn't always nice, and expecting otherwise can be naive. But just because bad behavior is common doesn’t mean it has to be accepted or ignored. Calling it out isn’t about expecting everyone to be perfect; it’s about pushing for a better community experience. Settling for toxic behavior as the 'norm' just gives it more power. I’d rather hold people to a higher standard, even if it’s a game.
3rd person servers are for the hardcore players. It's more difficult to survive in these types of servers because of the 3rd person view and that's why we veterans love playing it. If you aren't that good in the game go ahead and play 1st person servers; Everyone has their preferences..
"Toxic” isn’t just a buzzword-it’s calling out behavior that drags the whole experience down. DayZ is all about tough competition, but there’s a big difference between playing hard and crossing the line. If respecting other players is seen as “weak,” then maybe it’s time to rethink what strength actually means in a community.
Acting like basic respect doesn’t matter just because it’s a game is what’s really “downright bad.” Reporting toxic behavior isn’t petty-it’s standing up for a better community. If being a “grown man” means letting disrespect slide, I’d rather stay responsible and help keep this place worth playing in.
@@boneheaddayzwho are you to say how someone else plays a game though? You really are coming off kind of pathetic with that stance. It is just a GAME whether you devote your whole life to it or not lol. Guess there’s just victims in all facets of life these days
@@austinlevi3452 Look, I’m all for people playing the game however they want-that’s the beauty of DayZ. But let’s be real: basic respect isn’t asking too much, even in a game. If someone’s only aim is to make the experience miserable for others, yeah, I’ll call it out. It’s not about being a 'victim'; it’s about wanting a community where people don’t have to deal with needless griefing and toxic behavior. If that comes off as 'pathetic' to you, so be it. I’ll keep calling it like I see it.
Expecting people to be nice means you are not living in the world it’s better to expect this type of behavior

Anyone using the word toxic in Dayz is missing the point completely. Over used word to explain that someone did something you dont like. WEAK!!
