Oil pressure gauges on all vintage bikes is a must IMO. Nice selection and good video.
I agree, thanks for watching
Especially important for most Norton Commandos. They don't even have a sender for a warning light.
Oh my B25 needs this badly!
It's a smart upgrade!
@@classicbritishspares Will be ordering one shortly! :)
Are there oil preassure and temperature sender in one unit? Tx for video!
No, that is not currently an option, sorry!
A mount for the odd Norton commando triple clamp or a way to mount the gauge on the engine would be a sellable item imop. I have bought one but can’t mount it yet it needs a different style mount.
Hi, i bought one from yourselves a couple of years ago, for my 1968 T120 650 Truimph, it works fine, only concern is that when its cold the pressure goes off the scales, and until later when she is warm, then drops back to around 40/50
Is this ok
Mike
That is normal, the oil viscosity is thick when it’s cold
T140 oil pressure warning light switch threads are 1/8" NPS, which is an unusual thread. You refer to 27 (TPI?) - that seems like BSP (BSPP or BSPT). NPS is 28 TPI. Can you use 1/8" BSP male fittings safely in 1/8" NPS female housings, such as the T140 timing cover? Thanks.
No, it’s 27 TPI
The only slight, very slight, downside is you get paranoid when it drops sitting at traffic lights, much like the volt meter on a BMW that goes below norm at lights, but nothing is wrong it just is what it is.
Correct, thanks for watching
Any back lit gauge options ? ? ?
Not at this time
I need a !/8"-27 NPS Tee connecter for a '74 Trident. When can I get one?
