Yeah. You know I miss them being hunched and hobbling around in knitted cardigans... I know it's not a true representation of 'being old' but I guess I miss the absolute obvious life stages. I’d like to see a daycare game pack where you can run your own daycare. Right now the only option is the be a babysitter as a part time job, which literally means nothing. It could also be a good way to build the parenting skill without having any kids yet. I would love to see the chaos of taking care of a ton of toddlers etc.
Yes! I loveeee this idea ! Could do so much with a day care scenario, could even help with cooking skills and incorporate toddler cooking such as helping bake cookies with the daycare staff and then arts and crafts etc like in real nursery’s / day cares. Would be amazing and playtime with the other bubba’s 😭
It could be really fun! Only thing is that I find current playable careers boring with time, so I wouldn’t expect this kind of thing be necessary to my game
I’d love a whole expansion pack with a world that’s in another decade, like the 60s. Imagine all the cars/building fitting the decade and there being clothing/furniture/game play that brings the decade to life! I’d also love a 1920s pack like this
Can we have more personality traits for kids?? Having the four aspirations and the same hairs and clothes and four activities, I really feel like every sim’s kid is the same until they grow up, I agree we need MORE
I wish they had more instruments for kids to play. I know they have the creative aspiration but it would be cool to have like a band geek thing where the kids have to pick an instrument and master it. Then they have to leave for a school concert one night during the week. Have teens go to a football (American) game on Friday night to play in the marching band. As a parent of a band kid, there are tons of things he has to go do after school.
I think they should add aspirations similar to ones you can have as an adult, but still different. Maybe there could be one for pets, where they have to prove they're responsible enough to get one, and maybe even have different outcomes if they can't complete it before they age up. If they complete it, they can adopt a cat or dog, and get an extra trait from completing the aspiration related to being responsible or good with pets. If they're close to completing it, they could have the option to try harder for a cat or dog, or maybe this could be an opportunity to add more animals, like hamsters, lizards, etc, for them instead, or maybe just an extra trait (like a perk) that means they're less likely to help out and their parents would take care of it a lot. Maybe there could be one where they want money, or a big playhouse (which could be kid versions of the adult aspirations) and have to do chores for the money, or for the playhouse. The trait from those could make them receive more money from chores (even when they're a teen), or even jobs in the future.
I feel like they should separate the bed frames and the mattresses. That way you can mix and match. Ive seen some moders do it and i really like it actually.
I use these in my game play saves, and it really hurts to have to go back to non-CC beds and their non-matching woods and ugly bedclothes when I build for the gallery.
What I would love: -more age related activities for everyone (except young adult) -a greek/Eastern Mediterranean world (but this has to be done right, people often overlook the oriental aspects of the culture) - more clothing for masculine sims -Horses -a mermaid refresh (they deserve it 🥺)
YES, a Mediterranean world is so needed. Or just a world building option or more empty maps like Newcrest so we're not stuck in the same worlds every save, especially for people without a lot of eps.
Ugh yes. They need to patch all the deco kettles to be functional too. I want to see the sim put it on the stove and use it. Or it could just slot to the stove back burner and still be useable as deco too
Honestly I kind of wish they'd do what they did with lot traits to sim traits? Separated them out to be traits and challenges. Lactose intolerance isn't a personality trait, so why not have a sim version of challenges, they could then expand on things similar. Like allergic to dog /cat hair: they sneeze or get rashes when exposed to the animal, weak immune system: pairs with get to work the sim is more susceptible to sickness. I dunno, I think it would be cool

Ditto. I like Island Living because at least Sulani works properly, but most of the mechanics it introduced can only be used in Sulani. Except the odd jobs system, but even then, it would be nice if it had cross-pack compatibility.
We need a music pack where groups of musicians could PLAY TOGETHER on the same song. They've done this in previous versions of the Sims so they can do it. Also add DRUMS.

okay the idea of a cooking kit got me thinking, imagine a slow cooker/crock pot in the sims. it would be so fun to have sims be able to get started on dinner before work and to come home to a hot meal (also potential for moodlets like happy for perfectly warm meal/uncomfortable or tense for if food gets left in the slow cooker for too long and gets overcooked). Or if a parent works late the kids have dinner ready,,, I've gotten way too involved thinking about how this one item would work but I guess you've convinced me on a pack that I would be willing to buy!

Nah if they release packs and expansions that modest made people are still gonna buy the actual EA packs. People still bought cottage living even after Arnie’s farm mod came out. Nothing beats the polish and convey me of an actual EA pack that doesn’t need to be updated every update and has polished looking models and animations (not to say EA packs don’t have their own bugs and issues ofc)
A romance pack based on a Paris themed world with art themed stuff, a Korean based world that comes with bands, and more gamer stuff (sims is literally a life simulation that has a gaming career), an Italian based world with more cooking options, or an exotic pets kit. I play on console and I own all the packs and I can 100% say THOSE PACKS/KITS ADD LITTLE TO NO GAMEPLAY (without mods)
I think they should add a summer camp pack. So imagine, it's just like University + camping but for kids only, and they can take time off school for it. It gives you the chance to meet more kids, there's a fancy summer camp and a normal one and they have rivalries, new activities like raft racing and archery, new skills like knot -tying and orienteering that then translate into teen/adult skills, new kids-only interactions like all the cute ones in the Sims 3 (patty-cake, anyone?) and perhaps a new active career as a camp counselor. I guess this would be a game pack/expansion but it would really add a lot to the child experience.
i'd personally love more after school activities for kids and teens to join! like, why are scouts and drama club my only options...... i'd be fine with them not even having a lot of content in them i just want my kids to have like. other interests.
I get your point but how do you manage all of this! 😂 when the sim kids come from school they eat dinner and do their homework and then it’s already time to sleep. It’s so stressful and I feel like a stay at home mum when playing families in the sims 😂
For the teen room, they should do LED lights in a similar way to building walls or doing wallpaper, where you'd drag the lights from one point to the next and there'd be no weird seams or disconnect in between Also for the fairy lights, there should be a set with spaces that photographs will automatically slot into, so teens could take selfies together then hang them onto those lights specifically
I would like a wedding kit. Specifically wedding dresses and jewelry. I'd also actually buy a jewelry kit if it had matching sets of ring, bracelet, necklace and earrings. We don't have basic jewelry. But an EYEBALL ring! Oh yes!
I know it’d be a lot of work, but EA should just revamp City Living!! Like it’s perfect for apartment living gameplay and building, yet it falls so short. I’d feel honestly a bit insulted if they released an apartment living pack when they have City Living to work with. Same energy as releasing My First Pets Stuff when Cats and Dogs exists

Easily would become one of my favorite expansions, but the one commercial lot thing we have now? I can’t with that.
Slumber parties, prom, trick or treating, forming a band.. All TS3 (mostly generations) things I miss dearly that I don’t think have made a comeback yet. Also wouldn’t mind more extra curricular activities for kids and teens.. sports.. band/choir.. scouts.. and for elders maybe like bingo and stuff? Maybe even a retirement community pack since that’s usually where elders are sent in the states… and I guess I don’t mind it, just given that moving out elders gives my families more chance to have more.. productive? family members added. I think it could be a fun pack.. like end-of-life vacation in a building full of elderly kids. I totally agree about sandboxes and swingsets and just overall more activities for all ages to make more friends naturally
IMO I'd hop onto something decades themed. We have SOME that could fit now, but a retro kit that follows the 90s techno boom would be amazing and very different or even straight out victorian or tudor. Even slightly victorian stuff is like ugly (sorry goth base game items) or made for an occult (spellcasters, vampires).
Kits already have the perfect level of commitment needed from EA artists (low) that i Say: go wild! GO WILD! Goooo wiiiiild! Space themed décor, steampunk décor, give the penguin TV a family with the penguin décor, unethical fur décor, go wild, have fun! FUN!!!

Honestly grocery stores and shopping for basegame. Like it was in both ts2 and 3 (idk about 1 never played) but in ts4 there are like 2 gamemodes, work and play. Like yeah you cook and you have to clean sometimes, but also having the option to make your chores be more in depth like actually going to buy the food you want and picking up a magazine or game while you're there was such a fun part of ts2/3! Actually forced you to go to other lots for reasons other than just socializing and entertainment, there was a point to it and really made it a proper life simulator
Yes! I almost bought that pack because I enjoy having my sim clean their house and vacuuming seemed like a fun addition. I am so thankful I read reviews before I bought the kit, because I would have been FURIOUS haha. Shame on EA for leaving that kit an unfinished steaming pile of shit.
Honestly, we need more stuff for kids and teens in the game. More outdoorsy stuff for kids to play with is a must. If we could get something like that I’d die of happiness

Just to add a point to the dark academia part: I am personally really into dark academia so I obviously agree with you. Also, when it comes to adding trench-coats and stuff to the game, I would really appreciate an update that would make the possibility to have indoor and outdoor hot/cold weather outfits. Because watching my sims wearing sunglasses and beanies inside their homes makes me sick
If you want to there's the option to add multiple outfits to each outfit category (just click the little plus above the category) then you'd be able to have outdoor/indoor clothes to quickly switch between :)
I want more refreshes and pack updates! Flesh out what they already have. There's items and animations that exist already, and I just want them to put them together. I really don't mind recycled animations. Why isn't the wire chicken an egg storage basket? Why is the kettle decorative? Tea making animations already exist & it would be great to have another skin 💁♀️ *sigh* Also I want updated Snow Globes and Postcards 😂🙈 it's little and silly, but I used them a surprising amount for storytelling. Oh and a way to move items from household to personal inventories
Personally I would LOVE a kit that added kids gameplay. Especially something like summer camp! Normal lifespan games could be similar to university but it’s only 3 days full of gameplay based at summer camp with lots of other kids!
Maybe they could expand on Performer careers. Create bands, play at concerts, perform magic shows. They had things like that in the Sims 2 and 3. I'm just spitballing ideas. 🤷♀️ The biggest issue I see with theme packs is out-of-place townies that don't match the settings. A medieval town and a Bob Pancakes is just wandering around in a t-shirt. 😂 (But I would love to see dragons come back 👀)

For some reason I'm still holding onto the hope that we'll get more supernaturals. Was hoping for hints in Cottage Living and we got ~none~ :') I know a lot of Sims youtubers aren't into occults and that's fine, but a lot of simmers do enjoy supernatural gameplay. Holding out for werewolves and fairies (when should we give up hope lol)
I would FLIP if we got a werewolves pack. I loved them in Sims 2 🐺❤️ I'm not too familiar with fairies in the Sims 3 since i didn't play with that game too much, but I'd love them as well. Imagine a skill tree that branched into natural vs mischief, like Seelie and Unseelie, to give us different kinds of fae 🧚😍 I'd rather have actual fae, high elf type fairies, not pixies as we did in Sims 3, especially since there already are "pixies" elsewhere in the game, like the Uni sprites. Some time ago i had a really cool idea, of certain fae mechanics. They'd have a combined hunger-energy bar, as they're spirits they don't need actual food, or at least not normal food, from which they'd cast their magic as well. It would recharge over time naturally if it's not used even without sleeping. The more energy they spend on their magic the more tired they feel, with increasingly dazed moodlets. If they manage to actually spend it all they die a special death, as since they're spirits, and made of magic, by casting magic they're essentially giving up part of themselves, and spending too much of their own would make them disappear. It would also tie in the wild pixies that already exist elsewhere in the world, like in Uni and in the Forgotten Grotto; they're the spirits of dead fae, who spent themselves to death, only a hint of their magic remained but wild and savage, as whatever humanity (simanity?) and individuality they had evaporated when their magic became too thin to hold their personalities, and thus their essence returned to nature, too condensed to completely evaporate (although it will happen with time) but too vague to become whole again, fated to disappear completely, and eventuality the raw magic, once free, would create new fairies in the future. Most of these things are based on mechanics that are already implemented with either vampires or spellcasters, so I know they'd be possible. Something like this will never happen but one can dream.
I 100% agree I personally think it’s a must for them to add at least add fairies and wervolves. If not for those two I’d also love to see some entirely new ones like demons and angels maybe? Cause normal gameplay is fun and all but we should be able to make supernatural things in the sims as well just because it’s something we don’t encounter in our daily lives :)
The Sims needs some kind of music pack, whether it's a kit or a game pack or an expansion. Our Sims can play guitar, piano and violin, but why are there no drum kits in the game? Or bass guitars? Or wind instruments? Why can't our Sims form a band and actually play together and get better as a band together? Imagine how cool it would be if your Sims could have a career as a rock band and actually tour around the bars in the different towns? It could even tie into the fame system from Get Famous and the club system from Get Together
I also would like band activities for kids and teens - concerts after school that the kids and parents go to (even if it’s just passing time and there’s no gameplay in the performance). Teens go play in the marching band on Friday night.
THIS is the pack I’ve been wanting so badly. Why there is zero recognition of rockstars in Get Famous is beyond me and it’s the reason I didn’t want the pack. ALL I want is to have a club-like system where you can make 2-8 sims join in a band and be assigned instruments, you could even make them all terrible musicians and make an awful band to annoy the local venues, you could incorporate singing if you have the City Living pack, it’s endless. I just want sims to be able to play music near each other at the same time and call it a band. Thank you EA

The term I've heard used is Double Exceptional. Which makes sense looking at my school career. I was literally failing classes and I was given an IQ test and these psychologist people basically said I was doing crap because I already knew the stuff they were trying to make me focus on and the classroom atmosphere was overwhelming me. But you know, girls in grade school in the 90s were very very very rarely seen as even capable of being autistic, it has been seen as a boys issue for so long, that I feel myself and many others were just classed as troublemakers who didn't try hard enough. Not even trying to complain here, I just feel this is a more shared experience than some of us realize 😁
And then there's me, who was homeschooled, brainwashed, and sheltered so hard that I was definitely being trained to fail at life. Didn't get diagnosed until 28, and now I'm floundering around in my 40s cycling through bad landlords and only have a roof over my head thanks to a housing voucher. I've been No Contact with a bunch of blood relatives for ages now, so I've got that going for me, which is nice... terrifying with no safety net, but nice.
@@tirsden not homeschooled but can still relate!! I am 31 and still live with family. Never been able to obtain housing, never had a real job, constantly have meltdowns and shutdowns. I've basically just started posting my mess of a life onto RUclips to show people what happens when an autistic kid grows into an autistic adult while having had zero supports in life, and trying to help educate on topics such as sensory overload, meltdowns, shutdowns, rejection-sensitive-dysphoria, etc. I have other complicating factors for why employment and the like are basically impossible for me, but I am glad to be able to share my neurosis in a way that could potentially help others haha! Listening to the lovely Plumbella being open about her neurodivergence has made me feel understood and not alone, and honestly more comfortable opening up on my own channel 🥰 Every time she throws one of her little quips about autism or being a cancer crybaby I have another little jolt of happiness 😊
i would love a fairytale pack, more winterfest options, and a teenage expansion with more story options where you’re able to do things like kick teens out, run away e.t.c
I really want more musical instruments. In sims 3 they had the bass and it is one of my favourite instruments, an upright piano like the traditional kind, flutes, clarinets, trombones!! Honestly if they randomly added just the bass I would be ecstatic about it, but in the context of kits I would love a musical kit.
I would like The Sims to do a lawn maintenance stuff pack much like the laundry pack except with lawn mowing, watering plants not just gardening but shrubs and flowers and being able to trim hedges they could also add more outside activities for each life stage. There could also be a part time career like lawn mowing or gardening. It would be great for more realism in the game as well.
I will scream from the top of every mountain that I want that 60’s/70’s pack, too!!! 🙌 I also want an elder’s game pack (or I can settle for a stuff pack, I guess). I want bingo, I want card games, I want dominos, I want more granny/grandpa looking clothes, and sweet interactions from them like asking their grandkids to put on their sweaters before going outside or giving them a few coins to buy candy. ❤️

another small thing they should add is being able to tuck and untuck pieces of clothing like shirts and add it into the game with an update because there are some really cute shirts that are just ruined because they are untucked
They could give us the monsters, I miss the fairies, werewolves, playable ghosts and zombies. Or maybe an explorable future world pack/expansion, maybe a explorable past world too! Mess with the past it effects the modern day (EA would never do that it's too much work but imagine)
Dark academia would probably sell very well. It should have a few decor items as well, some deco books and various nicknacs to fill the desks and shelves.
Cooking Kit + game play kit, I would have no issue buying a pack that let us make custom recipes. Don't even need a ton of custom models, just let me actually cook, and let the recipes give minor buffs/debuffs based on what goes into them.
Would love a City living refresh - to be able to save apartments to the gallery as a whole and also edit the hallways because I cannot with the carpet in the modern high rise :')
I think all of these ideas are lovely. I've got some really great memories playing TS1 Makin Magic, and I didn't even buy whatever magic pack TS4 put out, it didn't look interesting in anyway. I am always down for more things to plant, more things to cook as well. Unpopular opinion, but I would love something like the TS3 store back. I very much want solar panels and rain collectors, but don't want all the rest of the stuff that comes with Eco lifestyle, like the NAPs. I really want to bake, but I don't want aliens, and there's no way to turn them completely off in the game. TS4 bundles a lot of things I would love to have with things I really don't want to have, so I end up not having any of it. I also second smaller things like the cupcake machine. I have never once used that thing because it's so huge. TS4 filled the game with gigantic versions of stuff we had in earlier games, and I have no idea why.
I love the idea of kits for the different age brackets. I miss taking the baby out with a stroller, having a pay pen, and would love to see a baby Bjorn or a kid seat on the back of Mom's bike. And more stuff for the elders! Shuffleboard would be fun, or making a senior center pack full of ways to give a senior's only feel to it. Maybe a lift chair for the stairs, or decorative canes and glasses, or less droopy senior clothing. Make a red llama society, or something like that, to help senior sims have a more full life now that the nest is empty and the job is gone.
I like the idea of dark academia, Y2K, and 70s fashion but I think we've had too many CAS kits already. I'm more thinking a kitchen appliance kit is what is in order. So much fun stuff can be done with that and I think it would be popular for many playstyles.

I want to add alarms clocks back into the game...I can just see a hot headed sim breaking it, a mischievous sim setting someones, teen hating it, active sims loving them etc I love the kitchen and teen ideas - I want prom back, more afterschool stuff and I would love even a rabbithole cinema that they can go too! They should really add pottery to the game! I’ve tried to find mods for it, but there doesn’t seem to be any good ones out there. It would be great to be able to make vases, cups, bowls, and more as decoration around the house or even be able to use them along with the flower arranging table and make flower arrangements with your own vase.
Regarding the “Harry Potter pack”, someone made a Henry Puffer cc stuff pack, they wouldn’t even have to make objects! Just animate some stuff and bam 💥
I miss all of the children actions from Sims 2. I loved having my kids have friends over and just get them to play tag or patty cake, and they'd be entertained for a while.
Regarding the dark academia stuff, I really wish we could finally have the possibility to layer clothes on top of each other cause the sets we get in the game don’t work for many people and fall/winter are all about layering stuff
With the cooking kit can we please please please bring back the easy-bake oven from Sims 3. I dream about it, I crave it. Being able to lock children away and have them cook for themselves or just fully run a cupcake shop based on child labour. That's what the Sims is all about

I’d love to have a mom /dad sim be able to wear a baby wrap and be able to walk around and do tasks and have the baby wrapped up on the chest sleeping etc. adding cloth diapering so your sims would have to wash diapers, having to actually bath the baby, play mats where they lay on they’re back and like kick at toys, Burping, maybe just like a whole nursery kit in general because that’s a big thing for new parents decorating your new babies room, boppy pillow or a cosleeper to have the baby in bed with you and be able to nurse them in bed. There’s just like a huge market for newborn stuff irl and I feel like it could really be added to the sims and just having more interactions and things you could do w them would be so great.
I just want anything that would boost gameplay cause as it is I boot up my computer build a lot then shut down sims to do some drawing instead. I'm just bored and the last update of the sims calling up to ask if the should get a new job/have kids/get married was a step in the right direction. I want more gameplay kits, not cas kits. I honestly don't care if my sims walk around naked as long as I have more gameplay to work with lol
A pack that I would love to see in the sims is a band pack. It would work best as a game pack where your sim and 4 other people could start your own band. You’ll have to book gigs yourself or hire an agent to do it for you. The gigs could be house shows or bar performances. The pack could also add more instruments to the game. And if you have get famous you’ll gain fame for each performance and social media post. Also it would be cool to design band shirts for your fans

I would love an official Go to School Pack, where you can follow your teen or child to school, much like go to work. Also, PLEASE put some TRAITS, the actual ones are so BORING. Lactose intolerant is a trait? Are you kidding me? You could even add a quirk mechanic to make sims more interesting.

Did you know that you can drag food (also big servings!) out on counters, tables, floor etc. and then the toddler can grab and eat it themselves? :) MUCH easier than the stupid high chair!

I’d like to see a daycare game pack where you can run your own daycare. Right now the only option is the be a babysitter as a part time job, which literally means nothing. It could also be a good way to build the parenting skill without having any kids yet. I would love to see the chaos of taking care of a ton of toddlers etc.
Yes! I loveeee this idea ! Could do so much with a day care scenario, could even help with cooking skills and incorporate toddler cooking such as helping bake cookies with the daycare staff and then arts and crafts etc like in real nursery’s / day cares. Would be amazing and playtime with the other bubba’s 😭

Can we have more personality traits for kids?? Having the four aspirations and the same hairs and clothes and four activities, I really feel like every sim’s kid is the same until they grow up, I agree we need MORE
I wish they had more instruments for kids to play. I know they have the creative aspiration but it would be cool to have like a band geek thing where the kids have to pick an instrument and master it. Then they have to leave for a school concert one night during the week. Have teens go to a football (American) game on Friday night to play in the marching band.
As a parent of a band kid, there are tons of things he has to go do after school.
I think they should add aspirations similar to ones you can have as an adult, but still different. Maybe there could be one for pets, where they have to prove they're responsible enough to get one, and maybe even have different outcomes if they can't complete it before they age up. If they complete it, they can adopt a cat or dog, and get an extra trait from completing the aspiration related to being responsible or good with pets. If they're close to completing it, they could have the option to try harder for a cat or dog, or maybe this could be an opportunity to add more animals, like hamsters, lizards, etc, for them instead, or maybe just an extra trait (like a perk) that means they're less likely to help out and their parents would take care of it a lot.
Maybe there could be one where they want money, or a big playhouse (which could be kid versions of the adult aspirations) and have to do chores for the money, or for the playhouse. The trait from those could make them receive more money from chores (even when they're a teen), or even jobs in the future.
I feel like they should separate the bed frames and the mattresses.
That way you can mix and match. Ive seen some moders do it and i really like it actually.

Honestly I kind of wish they'd do what they did with lot traits to sim traits? Separated them out to be traits and challenges. Lactose intolerance isn't a personality trait, so why not have a sim version of challenges, they could then expand on things similar. Like allergic to dog /cat hair: they sneeze or get rashes when exposed to the animal, weak immune system: pairs with get to work the sim is more susceptible to sickness. I dunno, I think it would be cool

okay the idea of a cooking kit got me thinking, imagine a slow cooker/crock pot in the sims. it would be so fun to have sims be able to get started on dinner before work and to come home to a hot meal (also potential for moodlets like happy for perfectly warm meal/uncomfortable or tense for if food gets left in the slow cooker for too long and gets overcooked). Or if a parent works late the kids have dinner ready,,, I've gotten way too involved thinking about how this one item would work but I guess you've convinced me on a pack that I would be willing to buy!

Nah if they release packs and expansions that modest made people are still gonna buy the actual EA packs. People still bought cottage living even after Arnie’s farm mod came out. Nothing beats the polish and convey me of an actual EA pack that doesn’t need to be updated every update and has polished looking models and animations (not to say EA packs don’t have their own bugs and issues ofc)
A romance pack based on a Paris themed world with art themed stuff, a Korean based world that comes with bands, and more gamer stuff (sims is literally a life simulation that has a gaming career), an Italian based world with more cooking options, or an exotic pets kit. I play on console and I own all the packs and I can 100% say THOSE PACKS/KITS ADD LITTLE TO NO GAMEPLAY (without mods)
I think they should add a summer camp pack. So imagine, it's just like University + camping but for kids only, and they can take time off school for it. It gives you the chance to meet more kids, there's a fancy summer camp and a normal one and they have rivalries, new activities like raft racing and archery, new skills like knot -tying and orienteering that then translate into teen/adult skills, new kids-only interactions like all the cute ones in the Sims 3 (patty-cake, anyone?) and perhaps a new active career as a camp counselor. I guess this would be a game pack/expansion but it would really add a lot to the child experience.
i'd personally love more after school activities for kids and teens to join! like, why are scouts and drama club my only options...... i'd be fine with them not even having a lot of content in them i just want my kids to have like. other interests.

For the teen room, they should do LED lights in a similar way to building walls or doing wallpaper, where you'd drag the lights from one point to the next and there'd be no weird seams or disconnect in between

Slumber parties, prom, trick or treating, forming a band.. All TS3 (mostly generations) things I miss dearly that I don’t think have made a comeback yet. Also wouldn’t mind more extra curricular activities for kids and teens.. sports.. band/choir.. scouts.. and for elders maybe like bingo and stuff? Maybe even a retirement community pack since that’s usually where elders are sent in the states… and I guess I don’t mind it, just given that moving out elders gives my families more chance to have more.. productive? family members added. I think it could be a fun pack.. like end-of-life vacation in a building full of elderly kids. I totally agree about sandboxes and swingsets and just overall more activities for all ages to make more friends naturally

Honestly grocery stores and shopping for basegame. Like it was in both ts2 and 3 (idk about 1 never played) but in ts4 there are like 2 gamemodes, work and play. Like yeah you cook and you have to clean sometimes, but also having the option to make your chores be more in depth like actually going to buy the food you want and picking up a magazine or game while you're there was such a fun part of ts2/3! Actually forced you to go to other lots for reasons other than just socializing and entertainment, there was a point to it and really made it a proper life simulator

Yes! I almost bought that pack because I enjoy having my sim clean their house and vacuuming seemed like a fun addition. I am so thankful I read reviews before I bought the kit, because I would have been FURIOUS haha. Shame on EA for leaving that kit an unfinished steaming pile of shit.

Because watching my sims wearing sunglasses and beanies inside their homes makes me sick
If you want to there's the option to add multiple outfits to each outfit category (just click the little plus above the category) then you'd be able to have outdoor/indoor clothes to quickly switch between :)
I want more refreshes and pack updates! Flesh out what they already have. There's items and animations that exist already, and I just want them to put them together. I really don't mind recycled animations. Why isn't the wire chicken an egg storage basket? Why is the kettle decorative? Tea making animations already exist & it would be great to have another skin 💁♀️ *sigh* Also I want updated Snow Globes and Postcards 😂🙈 it's little and silly, but I used them a surprising amount for storytelling.

The biggest issue I see with theme packs is out-of-place townies that don't match the settings. A medieval town and a Bob Pancakes is just wandering around in a t-shirt. 😂 (But I would love to see dragons come back 👀)

I know a lot of Sims youtubers aren't into occults and that's fine, but a lot of simmers do enjoy supernatural gameplay. Holding out for werewolves and fairies (when should we give up hope lol)
I would FLIP if we got a werewolves pack. I loved them in Sims 2 🐺❤️ I'm not too familiar with fairies in the Sims 3 since i didn't play with that game too much, but I'd love them as well. Imagine a skill tree that branched into natural vs mischief, like Seelie and Unseelie, to give us different kinds of fae 🧚😍 I'd rather have actual fae, high elf type fairies, not pixies as we did in Sims 3, especially since there already are "pixies" elsewhere in the game, like the Uni sprites.
Some time ago i had a really cool idea, of certain fae mechanics. They'd have a combined hunger-energy bar, as they're spirits they don't need actual food, or at least not normal food, from which they'd cast their magic as well. It would recharge over time naturally if it's not used even without sleeping. The more energy they spend on their magic the more tired they feel, with increasingly dazed moodlets. If they manage to actually spend it all they die a special death, as since they're spirits, and made of magic, by casting magic they're essentially giving up part of themselves, and spending too much of their own would make them disappear. It would also tie in the wild pixies that already exist elsewhere in the world, like in Uni and in the Forgotten Grotto; they're the spirits of dead fae, who spent themselves to death, only a hint of their magic remained but wild and savage, as whatever humanity (simanity?) and individuality they had evaporated when their magic became too thin to hold their personalities, and thus their essence returned to nature, too condensed to completely evaporate (although it will happen with time) but too vague to become whole again, fated to disappear completely, and eventuality the raw magic, once free, would create new fairies in the future.
Most of these things are based on mechanics that are already implemented with either vampires or spellcasters, so I know they'd be possible. Something like this will never happen but one can dream.
I 100% agree I personally think it’s a must for them to add at least add fairies and wervolves. If not for those two I’d also love to see some entirely new ones like demons and angels maybe? Cause normal gameplay is fun and all but we should be able to make supernatural things in the sims as well just because it’s something we don’t encounter in our daily lives :)
The Sims needs some kind of music pack, whether it's a kit or a game pack or an expansion. Our Sims can play guitar, piano and violin, but why are there no drum kits in the game? Or bass guitars? Or wind instruments? Why can't our Sims form a band and actually play together and get better as a band together?
Imagine how cool it would be if your Sims could have a career as a rock band and actually tour around the bars in the different towns? It could even tie into the fame system from Get Famous and the club system from Get Together
I also would like band activities for kids and teens - concerts after school that the kids and parents go to (even if it’s just passing time and there’s no gameplay in the performance). Teens go play in the marching band on Friday night.
THIS is the pack I’ve been wanting so badly. Why there is zero recognition of rockstars in Get Famous is beyond me and it’s the reason I didn’t want the pack. ALL I want is to have a club-like system where you can make 2-8 sims join in a band and be assigned instruments, you could even make them all terrible musicians and make an awful band to annoy the local venues, you could incorporate singing if you have the City Living pack, it’s endless. I just want sims to be able to play music near each other at the same time and call it a band. Thank you EA

The term I've heard used is Double Exceptional. Which makes sense looking at my school career. I was literally failing classes and I was given an IQ test and these psychologist people basically said I was doing crap because I already knew the stuff they were trying to make me focus on and the classroom atmosphere was overwhelming me. But you know, girls in grade school in the 90s were very very very rarely seen as even capable of being autistic, it has been seen as a boys issue for so long, that I feel myself and many others were just classed as troublemakers who didn't try hard enough. Not even trying to complain here, I just feel this is a more shared experience than some of us realize 😁
And then there's me, who was homeschooled, brainwashed, and sheltered so hard that I was definitely being trained to fail at life. Didn't get diagnosed until 28, and now I'm floundering around in my 40s cycling through bad landlords and only have a roof over my head thanks to a housing voucher. I've been No Contact with a bunch of blood relatives for ages now, so I've got that going for me, which is nice... terrifying with no safety net, but nice.
@@tirsden not homeschooled but can still relate!! I am 31 and still live with family. Never been able to obtain housing, never had a real job, constantly have meltdowns and shutdowns. I've basically just started posting my mess of a life onto RUclips to show people what happens when an autistic kid grows into an autistic adult while having had zero supports in life, and trying to help educate on topics such as sensory overload, meltdowns, shutdowns, rejection-sensitive-dysphoria, etc.
I have other complicating factors for why employment and the like are basically impossible for me, but I am glad to be able to share my neurosis in a way that could potentially help others haha! Listening to the lovely Plumbella being open about her neurodivergence has made me feel understood and not alone, and honestly more comfortable opening up on my own channel 🥰
Every time she throws one of her little quips about autism or being a cancer crybaby I have another little jolt of happiness 😊

I really want more musical instruments. In sims 3 they had the bass and it is one of my favourite instruments, an upright piano like the traditional kind, flutes, clarinets, trombones!! Honestly if they randomly added just the bass I would be ecstatic about it, but in the context of kits I would love a musical kit.
I would like The Sims to do a lawn maintenance stuff pack much like the laundry pack except with lawn mowing, watering plants not just gardening but shrubs and flowers and being able to trim hedges they could also add more outside activities for each life stage. There could also be a part time career like lawn mowing or gardening. It would be great for more realism in the game as well.
It would be great if the kids could mow grass for a little cash! Paper routes, babysitting, etc
I just want a Drums Kit with drums, bass, and a band career simular to acting. Game play could include bringing the band together and playing gigs.
So regarding the “Harry Potter” themed pack, basically you mean just convert Makin’ Magic from The Sims 1 to The Sims 4. Got it.

I also want an elder’s game pack (or I can settle for a stuff pack, I guess). I want bingo, I want card games, I want dominos, I want more granny/grandpa looking clothes, and sweet interactions from them like asking their grandkids to put on their sweaters before going outside or giving them a few coins to buy candy. ❤️
it would be so cool if they brought back games from sims 3 that people could play together by choosing it from the social menu, things like tig, catch, hide and seek
another small thing they should add is being able to tuck and untuck pieces of clothing like shirts and add it into the game with an update because there are some really cute shirts that are just ruined because they are untucked

They could give us the monsters, I miss the fairies, werewolves, playable ghosts and zombies. Or maybe an explorable future world pack/expansion, maybe a explorable past world too! Mess with the past it effects the modern day (EA would never do that it's too much work but imagine)
Dark academia would probably sell very well. It should have a few decor items as well, some deco books and various nicknacs to fill the desks and shelves.
Cooking Kit + game play kit, I would have no issue buying a pack that let us make custom recipes. Don't even need a ton of custom models, just let me actually cook, and let the recipes give minor buffs/debuffs based on what goes into them.
Would love a City living refresh - to be able to save apartments to the gallery as a whole and also edit the hallways because I cannot with the carpet in the modern high rise :')
I think all of these ideas are lovely. I've got some really great memories playing TS1 Makin Magic, and I didn't even buy whatever magic pack TS4 put out, it didn't look interesting in anyway.
I am always down for more things to plant, more things to cook as well.
Unpopular opinion, but I would love something like the TS3 store back. I very much want solar panels and rain collectors, but don't want all the rest of the stuff that comes with Eco lifestyle, like the NAPs. I really want to bake, but I don't want aliens, and there's no way to turn them completely off in the game. TS4 bundles a lot of things I would love to have with things I really don't want to have, so I end up not having any of it.
I also second smaller things like the cupcake machine. I have never once used that thing because it's so huge. TS4 filled the game with gigantic versions of stuff we had in earlier games, and I have no idea why.
Agree with others here - I’d prefer the game to be refreshed more because I’ve already spent enough money on it lol
I love the idea of kits for the different age brackets. I miss taking the baby out with a stroller, having a pay pen, and would love to see a baby Bjorn or a kid seat on the back of Mom's bike. And more stuff for the elders! Shuffleboard would be fun, or making a senior center pack full of ways to give a senior's only feel to it. Maybe a lift chair for the stairs, or decorative canes and glasses, or less droopy senior clothing. Make a red llama society, or something like that, to help senior sims have a more full life now that the nest is empty and the job is gone.
I like the idea of dark academia, Y2K, and 70s fashion but I think we've had too many CAS kits already. I'm more thinking a kitchen appliance kit is what is in order. So much fun stuff can be done with that and I think it would be popular for many playstyles.
I love your ideas! I want to add alarms clocks back into the game...I can just see a hot headed sim breaking it, a mischievous sim setting someones, teen hating it, active sims loving them etc

They should really add pottery to the game! I’ve tried to find mods for it, but there doesn’t seem to be any good ones out there. It would be great to be able to make vases, cups, bowls, and more as decoration around the house or even be able to use them along with the flower arranging table and make flower arrangements with your own vase.
Regarding the “Harry Potter pack”, someone made a Henry Puffer cc stuff pack, they wouldn’t even have to make objects! Just animate some stuff and bam 💥
I miss all of the children actions from Sims 2. I loved having my kids have friends over and just get them to play tag or patty cake, and they'd be entertained for a while.
Regarding the dark academia stuff, I really wish we could finally have the possibility to layer clothes on top of each other cause the sets we get in the game don’t work for many people and fall/winter are all about layering stuff
With the cooking kit can we please please please bring back the easy-bake oven from Sims 3. I dream about it, I crave it. Being able to lock children away and have them cook for themselves or just fully run a cupcake shop based on child labour. That's what the Sims is all about
how about something like a hobbies kit? we have sort of hobbies in the game, but maybe we could get more instruments, a sewing machine, more game consoles, more tabletop games and voidcritter stuff?

I have so many ideas to add gameplay to babies. Like basically just things you do with babies in real life lol like maybe being able to lay your baby out on a blanket so they could have tummy time, BABY WEARING. I’d love to have a mom /dad sim be able to wear a baby wrap and be able to walk around and do tasks and have the baby wrapped up on the chest sleeping etc. adding cloth diapering so your sims would have to wash diapers, having to actually bath the baby, play mats where they lay on they’re back and like kick at toys, Burping, maybe just like a whole nursery kit in general because that’s a big thing for new parents decorating your new babies room, boppy pillow or a cosleeper to have the baby in bed with you and be able to nurse them in bed. There’s just like a huge market for newborn stuff irl and I feel like it could really be added to the sims and just having more interactions and things you could do w them would be so great.
Yeah its crazy that all we have in game that is tailored to teens is basically posters lol

I just want anything that would boost gameplay cause as it is I boot up my computer build a lot then shut down sims to do some drawing instead. I'm just bored and the last update of the sims calling up to ask if the should get a new job/have kids/get married was a step in the right direction.

A pack that I would love to see in the sims is a band pack. It would work best as a game pack where your sim and 4 other people could start your own band. You’ll have to book gigs yourself or hire an agent to do it for you. The gigs could be house shows or bar performances. The pack could also add more instruments to the game. And if you have get famous you’ll gain fame for each performance and social media post. Also it would be cool to design band shirts for your fans

I'd love a elementary/primary school kit! Like you can attend a work event with kids thats school instead so you can have them make friends and develop more skills.

I can see your first idea working as a broader "fantasy nerd" pack, with stuff like an I Can't Believe It's Not Dungeons & Dragons game that Sims can play and conventions like the festivals in City Living.
Speaking of the bottle thing...can we please feed toddlers easier without a flipping high chair so my kids can stop getting whisked away even though I try to feed them!
Did you know that you can drag food (also big servings!) out on counters, tables, floor etc. and then the toddler can grab and eat it themselves? :) MUCH easier than the stupid high chair!
