I started by tank-gaming around 2016 with WoT actually, playing for about 2 years. Then I heard about this other game War Thunder, tried it and thought it's super weird. But after several tries I understood how bonkers WoT really is with its pay-to-win and completely fake RGN mechanics... I'm glad i switched to WT. I actually recognize some of the maps you played in this vid Phly. It brought some memories... anyway, I can see WoT is even more bonkers than it used to be ;)
@@ceuninckwout hi five! I decided WT mainly for IL2 gameplay, back in early 2000s i played and loved Il-2 Sturmovik game and i heard WT is done by the same guys so i wanted to fly Il-2s 😁 and then i tried tanks and it all changed for me.
@@ceuninckwout Bo-time gaming used to play this on his channel from time to time together with Bismark. Try his channel, lots of WT gameplay too. Il2 Sturmovik was a great WW2 flight sim.
Yeah started wot in 2010 and saw the development from start to now And I saw the development from war thunder from 2012 to now With around 7000 games played in wot (if I remember correctly i didnt touch the game for 5 years) I can definitely say one of the 2 games greatly improved the other one has premium ammo

As that's how I head his voice the first time. Nothing wrong with checking back on his roots... to see how bad WOT still is. Just take it for what it is vs complaining. An entertaining warning, it even has a Tiger limo.

If War Thunder had bigger maps and reworked Artillery vehicles with a balanced way to use indirect fire it would be so cool. Operation maps with 2 coordinated teams calling artillery on each would truly make the game awesome.
The tracks will eat all ammo and basicly do almost no damage to the tank, but not always and so on. Im guessing it depends on the tank, gun, ammo type, angle and so on.
