Best dorm tour I've seen, it sucks that they just switched back to freshman only, it was my first pick as a transfer (sophomore) and It didn't even show up on my student housing application lool

this is a great tour, and the first i’ve seen for the kale kahawai tower! i’m hoping to apply here next year (i’m a hs junior right now) and i was wondering is there any way to request which dorm tower you are assigned? i’ve seen many videos of the freshman towers but not of this one, so i was wondering how you got assigned here?
thank you!! i hadn’t seen any kahawai tours when i first went to UH either so i made my own :) as far as i remember, you got randomly assigned to housing when you apply and only when renewing you can request your dorm (although im not 100% sure that was my experience) that being said, hale laulima will now be freshman only and it’s pretty much the same as kahawai as well as frear 2 by 4 (which im in now) so there are a few options of where you can end up. i hope this helps!
