I am a better judge of character. No fan or pundit is in a position of knowing the inner core of Tupac or his family. Tupac rise to success was when the internet was just starting, and we used physical telephone lines with modems in computers to connect. The biggest online services were CompuServe, AOL, and Delphi.
      No one can refute anything Billy is saying (especially the moments that he shared with his son) because you weren't there. If you don't believe or like what he's saying, don't watch it, but to be critical says more about the critic than the Father of Tupac.

    Matulu Shakar was supposed to be released from prison a few years ago, but they railroaded his release and kept him locked up until about 6 months ago, after his family fought for his release as he dying of cancer. He in his final days.

    Growing up watchin Pac, he was 13 1/2yrs older than me, I looked up to him, bit now lookin back at it.. I'm almost 40 now & Pac died kinda still a baby at 25 still young & dmb with alot to learn! He fed into alot of the bs & pressures alot of us deal with being blk in amerika comin from the hood & being broke!smh

    Being a Tupac fan with Digital Underground juice same song. And carrying every Pakistani memory with me too hard. I'm 44 years old. I understood were Papa's coming from my being lied to but he missed out on a genuine man. Who's speaking from the heart telling the truth. It would have been nice if they would have got to spend more time together. Much respectability Garland for owning up to his mistakes, and giving dudes to mutulu Shakur. Also forgiving Afeni but she had to do what she had to do. Much respect love the interviews. And that is his light skin look like. I also like to call him Papa PAC as well

    These Billy Garland interviews has exposed how much a lot of people have real "daddy issues", in these comment sections. A woman telling this same story would get benefit of the doubt, but this man is getting hate and disrespect for telling his truth from people who never met him or was affected by his decision making. Pac loved him, that's all that matters.

      well billy garland also said something very instructive that y'all missed out on - that they had to cos they didn't know whether they were ( the Panthers) were going to live to see the next day or not . ofcourse we are very familiar with the j edgar hoovers FBI n his contelpro ( counter intelligence program ) and the low intensity warfare they waged on our revolutionary panthers / leaders . .that was heavy on ' em not knowing your fate in the mist constant persecution, prosecution and worse hail of bullets .marinate on that for a minute guys .
