@UBSCARED It doesnt matter what the weight is. We have no context for the lift, it could have been one of 50 reps or when she was training her technique. She finished 9th in the Crossfit Games, the main worldwide crossfit competion. Therefore, within the crossfit comunity (at whom this video is aimed) she can be considered 9th in world. So stop hating and just take the video for what it is. A well made motivational video about a crossfit athlete for the CF comunity
she lists her PR for the snatch as 165lbs (74.8kg). In the video, that's probably just her training set.Considering she's only 5'2" and 130lbs (give or take), that's very impressive. My original comment wasn't to sell her short or anything. Everyone was just throwing random numbers out there and I wanted to set the record straight.
Those look to be the plates by Rogue Fitness used at many Crossfit boxes. The 3 on the end are 10lbs ea and the thicker plate looks to be a 15lb. 45x2+33 or 45 for the bar and she's snatching either 123lbs (55.8kg) or 135lbs (61.2kg). Not an easy weight by most standards, but it's not THAT hard either.
I came to crossfit from gymnastics too. There's no other sport that can give you the fear, pain, and satisfaction like gymnastics & crossfit. I'd love to see anyone hating on this beautiful strong woman jump on the mens rings and do what we do in crossfit. Don't talk about things you don't know about cuz if you had EVER tried ONE workout you wouldn't be talking shit.
@skater506 I was not the one on his body building sight saying "my guns are bigger" or "I can be half dead on stage at 2 percent body fat". He decided to jump on our page and our coach said you are more than welcome to come try it out.
@UBSCARED First of all if it's 2- 15# and 6- 10# that's 90# plus the bar which is probably 45#, that's a 135# Snatch. She finished 9th in the world so why are you guestioning her fitness? Stop Hate'n and giver her the props she deserves.
You did well to look it up. 74,8Kg though should be easy for Camille. That expression of struggle doesn't match well here... Like I 've said multiple times, size isn't everything. Assuming that 130lbs are about 57-58Kg, I don't think a performance of about 75Kg is impressive for a woman, especially a top-class one. Thank you for taking the time to look it up though, that's very kind of you:)
I will marry a woman like this if it kills me, if it kills me working out, working in school, later working in work, working on my temperament I don't care, never eating dessert again, worth it
For Camille's class, anything close to 60Kg should be VERY easy. I accept no objections on this. The only possible cause I can think of for this struggle is a bad day of hers. She can't be that weak.
Yep, most crossfit places it seems use deadlifting type bumper plates. Those are probably 5 or 10kg bumpers each. Honestly don't know nor do I care what they are.
Crossfit is definitely not for everyone guys. We have nothing to prove. Train hard and spend time sending words of encouragement to your community instead of fighting with others. We're better than that:)
@LunchtimeLoonies He contacted us saying our workouts were easy. All we did was respond with basically come show us how easy. No kidding they do not need to workout like that to be a body builder. But you want to talk shit about something being easy, prove it.
i think i watch this video at least once a week. just habitual scroll through crossfithq always ends me up at this video... only if every girl was like her. heh
cool go girl im a personal trainer and believe that u have a good genetics along amazing training cross fit programs...good on u...i love strong girls there the best...uve been BLESSED GIRL...HOT
So there is a minimum of 40Kg (4 plates per side, minimum 5Kg each), still a long way above the "fake plastic weights" and still impossible for fat 13-year-olds behind the safety of their screens in their moms' basements. And given Camille's class, the weight she's lifting is at least 90-100Kg, and this with very strict calculations. I don't think she'd struggle that hard with a maximum of 80Kg... As for the 40Kg, it would be at least very strange if she struggled like that.
Not impossible for a woman of Camille's class. But obviously impossible for Ddiakov and all the rest haters out there, who pretend to be smart, tough etc but are just being destructive, to whatever point this could be possible. Thanks anyway, but don't expect me to remember it next time. My brain is compatible with metric units only, basically because metric units work well with scientific formulas...
I never felt hurt. Now tell me how much 300lbs is in Kg, so I can get exactly what you were trying to say. Else stop spamming me. If your next reply doesn't contain the answer to my question, you 'll prove that YOU are hurt, mr. Tough Guy. I just tried to use an "in your face" tone in my previous reply, hard thing to do though from such a distance.
@mrgravyx Can't believe i am actually replying to this stupid stuff. Look, when your spending so much time oly lifting as some people then your not going to take plates off the bar and add the more "appropriate weight" bars when you just can use less energy adding small ones. And no, it's not going to hurt anything if you have more plates on.
@c2conditioning Go try Crossfit or better yet SEALFIT and see if it's like a beauty show. Then come back and talk trash. If you still think it's a beauty show afterwards then fine, but don't come back on crossfit vids dissing it. Keep it to yourself.
Camille is an incredible athlete, her intensity inspires me.
And the fact that she happens to be a super-babe doesn't hurt much either!

@Himdarling44 Can you deadlift 700 lbs. and run a sub 4.6 40? Different types of training.
Where exactly did I use the term "strong" in the comment you replied to?
@c2conditioning
the winner is the most nice and not the best strong athlete?
Time to move to Quebec and start CrossFit there.
@skater506 I was not the one on his body building sight saying "my guns are bigger" or "I can be half dead on stage at 2 percent body fat". He decided to jump on our page and our coach said you are more than welcome to come try it out.

@rwo13 Why would a bodybuilder bother with crossfit????? There is no need for him to train like this.
@mrgravyx Can't believe i am actually replying to this stupid stuff.
