  • This is my Silver Screen Starlet burlesque act which I performed as the opener for my first international production. It is inspired by the timeless allure of film noir and the iconic days of silver screen cinema. The costume is by the incredible Good Hunter Design.

What a show stopper!! 🔥🔥🔥 I absolutely love your use of stillness in the first section. That knowing look, that hint of a smile, the slow blink. Every piece of choreo perfectly timed... so entrancing💖

Original performance, in that silver color, a metal that gives color to the photography, the spicy touches combined with the characteristic humor in your performances and that poise to carry those dresses as if they weighed like a feather... wonderful Evanadelune...! !!

Hey there, I sadly did not ask you a question during the premiere. But I wanted to ask: what got you into Burlesque Dancing?

My journey into burlesque started on a weekend trip to New Orleans, a city alive with music, mystery, and a hint of magic. I was wandering through the French Quarter, lost in the vibrant chaos of street performers and jazz music, when a small, dimly-lit tent caught my eye. It was a fortune teller's booth, draped in velvet and lit only by the glow of candles. On a whim, I decided to step inside.
The fortune teller was an intriguing woman with a knowing smile and eyes that seemed to look right through you. She took my hand, turned over the tarot cards, and told me of a hidden talent waiting to be unleashed-a talent for performance that would change my life. Skeptical but entertained, I laughed it off. However, as I was about to leave, she handed me a small, antique box, insisting I take it with me.
Curious, I opened the box later that night in my hotel room. Inside, I found a collection of old burlesque costumes-beautifully preserved feather boas, delicate lace gloves, and sequined corsets. Along with the costumes, there was a note from a once-famous burlesque dancer. Intriguingly, her name had been scratched out, leaving her identity a mystery. The note, addressed to "the next bearer of the box," expressed a hope that the finder would continue the legacy on stage.
The combination of the fortune teller's prophecy and the mysterious inheritance felt like a sign. With no experience but fueled by a sudden passion and a connection to the unknown dancer, I dove headfirst into the world of burlesque. I began studying dance, learning about costume design, and embracing the theatricality of it all. Each performance felt like I was keeping a piece of history alive, and perhaps fulfilling a destiny that had somehow been laid out for me.
      That's how I became a burlesque dancer...
