The concept of truly making it a home would be difficult according to this video, Kane's recently video would be a certain hard task if this was applied here for the Async to complete without anyone losing their mind both mentally and/or literally.
Interesting how in Frags version of the backrooms, the backrooms were more discovered by accident instead of (at the very) discovering a way into the backrooms like Kanes. Plus its nice to see representation of the insanity you can gain from the hum of the lights

Theory: The guy turned into an entity, specifically a Wretch (aka an Insanity). Level 0 is infamous for having sanity draining properties at an alarming rate. The way people become wretches is through lack of sleep, starvation/thirst, and deteriorating mental health (him eating the carpet points towards this). And that final scene, being so graphic it had to be censored, was him turning into a Wretch. Skin falling out, eyes rolling wildly, tar-like sludge oozing from all orifices. It being so horrific that they shut down any attempt at colonizing the Backrooms without a second thought.
Bringing "normal" lighting or, at least, trying to change the bulbs would therefore be a wise decision. Seems like an obvious thing to try before possibly giving up. I hope they do.
I like this concept a lot. I hope Kane expands on it more with the commercialization of the backrooms. I fucking live for this shit man lmao. I wish I had obscene amounts of money to throw at you guys for a huge backrooms movie or tv series

While I was going to comment on how realistic the animation is, and how you should really make a tutorial one day, the ending caught my attention more. In Kane pixel’s videos, there is a running theory that the bacterial creatures actually came from the reanimated corpses of humans. Now, in this video, we see the subject becoming more violent and inhuman until in the last moments of the video, we see the subject is blacked out.. what is being hidden? Is it not the same thing anymore? No. This subject has transformed into an entity..

i actually wondered what happens to peoples mental health after a while of being in the backrooms, being all alone and the only time you are not is when you are running from an entity trying to kill you. constantly hearing a loud buzzing noise and smelling rotten wallpaper. seeing the same walls and floors and nothing being different. and the end of the tape shows how that affects a person.
Here's my interpretation of the censor: you'd find it normal for him to sit in this position, but this after realizing it's meaning (which can happen suddenly and unexpectedly after contemplation). The person will become more and more different. Phase 1: Person upon realization is unable to speak of details. Usually displaying fear or sadness depending on the person. Phase 2: Their responses start to go through minor changes. For example: They will seem randomly tired having them respond by having them reach for something impossibly far sitting at one place. Emotions from phase one come back after realizing this action. Phase 3: Person begins to have major changes in behavior and start to "understand." more. Normal behavior is still present but often will have mood swings having no more original response to realization of pose. Example: Someone feels like a picture on a wall isn't straight. They respond by laying sideways against the corner of the room against 1 wall and the floor counting to 28 before having normal behavior not noticing their abnormality in behavior. Phase 4: Person becomes erratic having to want to respond to many unnecessary things leaving them to have fast incomprehensible speech while then mangling themselves to act upon these discorded compulsions. Phase 5: Sudden distortion. Having them become a random shape having them usually die from doing this. With sudden size changes, this can cause collateral damage killing other people. Range is 10 feet, to 30 feet.

Actually, TWO scientists CREATED the powerful magnetic technology that made the backrooms possible. They built it purposely for storage/ classrooms/ living quarters/ office spaces...What ever ppl wanted. Theoretically they believed this technology could greatly reduce our need for large structures such as highrises, shopping centers, office buildings etc. All while lessening the impact of our global footprint. But the technology had bugs and it became unstable. The rooms were rapidly stretching and multiplying in random time sequences and directions, swallowing living people up. When people disappeared they were thought to be dead, but they were actually LOST in a forever stretching and glitching "program" of black holes called the BACKROOMS. Within a year of this disaster, people who were nowhere near the back rooms were disappearing as a result of "no clipping" out of reality. It was a mystery what was happening, but now we know the folks who disappeared walked the endless maze of back rooms until they collapsed of exhaustion. The lucky ones succumbed to the entities who emerged first as bugs in a glitching "software". Once this nightmare became reality,there was no way to turn it off. The only way to contain the catastrophe was to keep the public from ever finding out about the Backrooms...
