Mt. Everest (8091 meter, 10th highest peak in the world) Expedition by Sri Dipankar Ghosh, an eminent mountaineer from Kolkata, India. Expedition was abandoned due to massive earthquake hit Nepal.

Dipankar Ghosh, EFIAP, FFIP, is well known amongst the aspirants of mountaineering for his outstanding performance in enumerable successful expeditions. He has so far undertaken 45 mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayan range including 6 eight thousanders. His expeditions include Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Kangchenjunga, Mt. Annapurna - I and Mt. Manaslu. On 31 occasions he reached the summit. Among those, 5 gave him the recognition as the world's first summiter.
