- want to share with you guys the latest addition to my collection, Carmina and Queen of Silk from the house of Creed. These are my first Creed fragrances and have lived rent free in my head since I smelled it at Bloomingdale’s. Carmina is a Dark Cherry and jammy Rose and Peony combo. Bright, spicy, fruity floral. Queen of Silk, as the name suggests is a creamy Tuberose, Osmanthus, and Passionfruit with Oud combo. It’s silky, creamy, smoky and luxurious on the skin. I’m gobsmacked by the craftsmanship and performance of these two. A must have!

Creed is what started my niche perfume obsession many years ago, when all other (commercial) perfumes were giving me headaches. I’ve worn many of them as signature scents, recently however I’ve only kept Sublime Vanille and Fluer de the rose Bulgare in rotation. I’ve ordered a sample of Carmina to give it a good wear test, but I’m on the fence with the oud note in Queen of Silk. Do you find the oud note strong?
Miss Elena, I finally gave in to try this house and Carmina was my first experience with Creed. I will have to dig deeper into this house as the performance on these two fragrances are astounding. As for the oud in Queen of Silk, its not that strong to my nose, the creaminess of the other notes just ties it all together for me.
