I listened to this video 2x, but never heard the answer to the question indicated by the video title, "What Is PURIM?". According to a Google search, Purim is defined as a Jewish holiday that, "... commemorate the defeat of Haman's plot to massacre the Jews as recorded in the book of Esther."
As a side note, Rabbi Moshe Chaim does mention drinking on Purim and refers to it as, "getting spicy". However, the custom of drinking wine on Purim stems from a quotation in the Talmud attributed to a fourth century rabbi, Rava: “One must drink on Purim until that person cannot distinguish between cursing Haman and blessing Mordechai” (Megillah 7b). To me, this sounds like the 4th century Rabbi is recommending that the drinking on Purim should greatly exceed the level of only "getting spicy".
In summary, getting back to my original problem with this video, if the definition of Purim was mentioned, indirectly referred to, or somehow otherwise stated in this video, I missed it. Because of that, I found this video to be disappointing.
