I am having trouble opening the phone up after removing the SIM card. I have various phone tools and I'm trying to slide it apart. I also have a heat gun. Should I use the heat gun?
Hey there! Fantastic video!! I just did this swap and everything went flawless!! By far, easiest replacement ive done yet but for some reason the ear speaker volume is very low and sort of muffled.. It is all the way up but only sounds like it 50% and wont go any higher.. Also the bottom mic you talk into is messed up.. The person your talking to can hear you moving the phone around and voice sounds tinny/scratchy.. Its like its weirdly amplified or something.. Any idea whats going on?? Bout ready to give up on it.. Thanks bro!!
Actually just transferred everything back to the broken screen and volume and mic work fine now.. Thinking i got a bad replacement from Amazon, maybe something grounding out on chassis or something?? Anyway, gonna get another and try again

i put everything in exactly as it was and made sure it all clicked but now my phone does not recognize swipes of any kind, what did i do wrong?
Defective screen
I had my lcd screen replaced by a tech and now the charging port is not working. It was working perfectly fine before I dropped it to their store. They said the charging port is seperate to lcd but the clip shows it has to be removed in order to replace lcd. I also noticed the simcard tray was missing too which they said they dont touch but this video clearly shows it has to be removed to open the casing of the phone. Is it possible they damaged the charging port?
Yes, you could open it up and check that the cable is not ripped and it is connected properly
