Welcome aboard our Ranger 2410 Bay Boat powered by a Suzuki 300. In this video we show what it's like running a few blue crab traps in the Port Aransas, Texas area. It's a lot of fun and kids really enjoy it. Please read the TPWD laws and rules carefully. Pay special attention to their definition of gear tag, crab traps, and trapping restrictions in Aransas County.
Thanks for watching.
John 3:3
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
✝️ God bless

Nicely done ! Great day out on the water
I love watching these little vids.. Makes me want to retire early and go fishing every day. 😛
@@RM.Adventures_ haha thanks Ramiro! that’s the aim for all of us!!!! I Shonuff don’t plan to work forever. I suppose I could retire tomorrow morning but w the current state of the economy I’d have to come out of retirement by lunch. Hope y’all have a good weekend and get outside!
Carson all tanned up, getting that vitamin D. Fun times, Marc!!
@@ILLBEDRONED Hahaha thanks DanO!!! he even thinks about the sun and he browns up like an anole in your yard….wish I could do that. I took a skin med as a teenager and it jacked with me for life. It’s now one of those class action meds seen on blast by TV attorneys - go figure!! Have a great weekend bubba 👍🏼
The crabs with the broken pinchers must have gone to battle!! 🦀 The one attacking the gopro was brave! 😂
Carson looks like he was enjoying this!! Great memories being made!
@@HenriVineFishing hahahah thanks Henri! Brave he was!! He’s lucky I wasn’t hungry for crab cakes 🤣
Carson really gets a kick outta throwin and reelin these pots. We’ve caught some reel gnarly critters in recent weeks. Hopefully next time we’ll have the camera rollin 😎 Hope you and the fam have a blessed weekend.
I remember setting/pulling lobster traps with my dad when I was a kid. Great memories. Good luck this week Carson!
@@tommytsadventures Yoo thanks Tommy!!! Carson appreciates the well wishes. 3 back to back pool games Sat morning starting at 8am then Sundays schedule will come out later that day - it’s single elimination. We came to PLAY boy!!! These boys are amped. Prolly not gonna sleep any Friday night LOL
Crabbing is big time fun, especially with your family!! NICE!!
Thanks! Depending on where we soak em, spider and stone crabs like to show their faces too. Stone crabs tho mm mm good!!! Occasionally blue crabs ending up in our pots find themselves on a hook and get put to work!
Great trip out with the family my friend.
Can’t beat those days!
Nice video Sr yes kids love have fun with 🦀
@@RGVOFFTHEHOOKFISHING Yo thanks RGV! Yeah man it’s a sport any kid can participate in. Never know what’s gonna come up with that trap! We’ve caught some gnarly critters in there
All the best friends be safe always have a great week 👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗
@@TravelHungryForLife Thanks. You as well
Always a good time to be had on the water.
Amen to that one! Hope y’all have a blessed weekend Russell. Thanks for stopping by
Very interesting to learn so much about crab fishing and how long you can keep the traps out. My dad did this with his dad when he was younger living in Texas. The blue on the crab is so pretty. Beautiful day to be on the water! 😊🌸🌺
@@AlyenasKitchen Thanks Alyena! Texas is particular about crabbing rules and regs. Carson and Whitney love crab boils but not this guy! I prefer to watch em swim away. Carson really just enjoys seeing what we pull up in the traps - sometimes we luck out and get some spider crabs or stone crabs. Ask your dad about those. Stone crabs are a real treat. Their claws are delish! We appreciate your support.
Those looked like all Blue Boyz.....Where are all the Blue Ladies!!😎👀
@@WesLovelacethanks Wes!! They wuz out for lady’s night apparently. The bachelor crew found our pots. They’re lucky we were hungry or else they’d been swimmin their last
Pretty coloration on a couple of those. Well done, guys.
Thanks John. Camera just doesn’t do the colors justice. Generally the blue claws indicate males while bright red tips indicate mature female. The fool-proof method tho is to flip em over and look at shape of underbelly. Thanks for watching! Excited to see your thoughts on the izeeker cam
Fun stuff! Smorgasbord for the trap!
Yeah man!! I want em to get a taste of what we feel at Golden Corral 🤢
@@fishing4dinner 🤣🤣🤣
4:35 Looks like you're filming attack of the crabs 🤣Not sure what your regs are, but I saw another dude taking the claws and throwing them back in Florida. I had seen that with stone crabs, but it never occurred to me for blue crabs.
@@JumbleTronChannel Thanks Ryan! Them blue crabs sure don’t care to be penned up all night then harassed on deck by some humanoids haha.
Yeah when we catch stone crabs, we’ll pop the claws. Blue crabs don’t have a ton of claw meat…the monster ones do I suppose but never heard of anyone intentionally harvesting them. Hope y’all have a great and blessed weekend spending some time outdoors 🤙🏼
@@fishing4dinnerI suppose of you scoop enough up, you got yourself some crab meat. Check out Gary the fish finder... That's where I saw this😁
Always a pleasure watching your videos. stay connected my friend :>
