Out of every person I follow and have watched who talks about ocd/ anxiety I can relate to Rob the most 😅 the way you describe symptoms thoughts and feelings is EXACTLY how I know ocd to be

Rob oh how i can relate to all you have said. This has went on with me for years even before i had even heard of OCD. Just thought i had been born like that. The bit about cutting the labels of blouses jumpers etc yes yes. Now i understand what it was all about. Knowing why helps to reduce the fear about it and reduces the anxiety. Thank you.

Rob, excellent video! It be great if you do more videos explaining somatic OCD as it will help me better share this work with others in need. On my coaching call with Nick, he was talking about the different types of somatic OCD-fatigue, hypersensitivity, etc. Could one of you do a video on that? Mercí beaucoup. 🙏

Hi There , I had this question on the thing I am not understanding ,
Whenever my mind sometimes gets calm down my obsession reduces and start thinking about philosophical and existential thoughts . And it goes to deep thinking about life , ultimate things , philosophical stuffs and gets confused. This takes away my time and makes me dull.
Is this kind of unknown or indirect Rumination ? In that case sometimes I feel like back to being active which is better but active means for me with my OCD conditioning it's like cortisol release and slowly I again gets back into OCD trap with doing compulsions ( Doing compulsions sounds keep moving like unstuck with Rumination ).
So how to go about it ? Having balance of over activation ( slowly creates more cortisol and stress and compulsions increases ) and under activation ( slowly goes towards philosophical and complicated life questions and takes depressive route ).

I’d suggest the deep thinking is existential OCD just a sneaky way to get you to ruminate as a compulsion

@@danielfoot4977 Right so how to go about it. I should underactivate myself by not doing compulsions and then strongly refuse to be dull and overthinking ? Is that the way to come out of OCD
