Well I got the book and DVD , I was so disappointed because it had way too much history and not enough patterns . I get way more teaching from "Lace from Ireland" on you tube .
To be sure the DVD dealt more with an introduction to Clones Lace Irish crochet, as well as stories about the people in Ireland who created the lace- the DVD only featured a few patterns, I think more of an inspiration to get people started in Irish crochet- here is a link to the Antique Pattern Library, where they have many varied and beautiful antique Irish crochet patterns for free for you to access: www.antiquepatternlibrary.org/html/warm/irishcro.htm I hope this helps :)
