Craziest thing is even Paul didn't sing while playing that bassline--it's one of his overdubs and he was on piano for the main recording. So even more impressive.
Excellent performance. This is all we have folks. Paul McCartney is getting on in years now. Let's appreciate it. These guys do a great job recreating The Beatles.
I'm super critical yet I think he sounds incredibly similar and this live no less. Not just the tone of his voice which of course can never be exact (but damn close) but McCartney's singing mannerisms, the melodic way he uses his voice..it's seems all there. This guy truly loves Paul no doubt.
Nice to hear tribute bands who will play all the Beatles songs not just the popular ones. I've notice some fans don't know a lot of the other songs which I personally love more than the popular ones. I'm from Liverpool in the UK the original Beatles home town and a massive Beatles fan :)
Agree 100% I'm 63 and my Dad was a sales rep for Capital Records 1957-1969 so our family grew up with the Beatles . Back then, here in the US , the radio stations of course, played their hit singles . But when my Dad would bring home a new album, I'd listen to it before it hit the record stores and wonder which songs would become hits . I'd usually like the ones that didn't make their greatest hits list like You Won't See Me , I'm Only Sleeping , Dr. Robert etc..
I've seen the fab four around 15 times. They are the real deal..no lip syncing no backing tracks real voices real instruments..amazing show. The meet and greet after was awesome really great guys..took picture after picture until they saw one that was good...SEE THESE GUYS IF THEY PLAY NEAR YOU !!
brilliant cover band. Just watched them do 'I'm looking through you'. A pity the terrific bass is not more in the mix. Will someone please film them and again and upload. I'd pay good money to see these guys, and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Alive and dead.
***** THE LENNON IN THE BOOTLEG BEATLES LOOKS AMAZINGLY LIKE A YOUNG LENNON BUT FAB FOUR MCCARTNEY AND HARRISON LOOK LIKE THE ORIGIONALS THE LENNON IN FAB FOUR SOUNDS MORE LIKE LENNON --THIS IS THE BEST TRIBUTE BAND OUT THERE
S#!T I hate you! :-) In genuine awe. And running those melodic bass lines while doing it. Let's never forget the genius(es) who created it. This happens to be one of my favorite songs.
Writer, lead vocal: Paul McCartney When I call you up, your line's engaged. I have had enough, so act your age. We have lost the time 우리는 잃어버렸지 That was so hard to find, And I will lose my mind If you won't see me, I don't know why you should want to hide. But I can't get through my hands are tied. I won't want to stay, I don't have much to say, But I can't turn away And you won't see me, 당신은 나를 만나려 하지 않네 Time after time 몇 번이고 You refuse to even listen I wouldn't mind (no I wouldn't, no I wouldn't) If I knew what I was missing. Though the days are few, They're filled with tears. And since I lost you it feels like years. Yes, it seems so long Girl, since you've been gone, And I just can't go on 나는 살아갈 수 없을 거야 If you won't see me,
A good case of agreeing to agree, I guess. It is more clear cut in cases like Ticket To Ride (like Paul used the Casino and the Hofner, and George used the Ric 12 string, but live, George used either of his Gretsches instead). I see your points. Good Morning is a good example, and YWSM is, too (when Paul has played YWSM live on tour, always plays the lead guitar part). It is hard to know what is best to compromise in terms of authenticity in those cases.
Not half bad really. The guy playing Paul comes up just a little short on some of the highest notes is all I can discern. I wouldn't mind going to see these guys live. They deserve a paycheck, and an A for their effort.
I was not aware of the Esquire being used on You Won't See Me. It is generally understood that the Esquire was acquired for Revolver, but it is a possibility. George remembers using his Strat as his main guitar on Rubber Soul, and I agree that the thumping on YWSM is most likely the 4001 bass. The Country Gent was the backup guitar for that tour, and got smashed, so George brought a Strat instead as backup for his ES345. The Gent was close to retirement when it was destroyed. :-)
I’d be interested in knowing the history of each member as far as knowing about their music history. Where did they learn? Do they all read music? If they travel so often, how much time can they spare to rehearse? I have seen them twice and look forward to a third time! 👏👍👌💗
EXCELENTES.
Hey their wearin wigs yes their wearin wigs their all wearin wigs hahahaha i love how paul explains how the audience would talk about them i love their "wigs"
Great cover. The Paul guy sounds great, and from what I can hear of the John guy he sounds good too. The George guy looks his mic stand is too low lol.
no, I meant the esquire was used on sgt. pepper, but paul soloed on it for good morning good morning. and yeah, come to think of it...even though there's some controversy on when paul did or didn't use it, we can be about 90% sure he used his rick on this track. so I see your points, they were just trying to be true to their tour rig.
Actually, George used a Strat on most of Rubber Soul, and a good portion of Help! The Country Gent was retired around the time of A Hard Day's Night except for touring (the to-go Harrison studio guitars during For Sale and Help! were the Tennessee Rose and the Rick 12, adding the Fender Strat during the Help! session --right in time for recording Yes It Is, unlike George's own recollections-- and only adding the Casino in 1966). Get your facts straight, please!
Beatlejuice is now broken up but yes Brad Delp from the band Boston who was a huge Beatles fan was the singer of that tribute band. They didn't dress like the Beatles they just went out and tried to recreate the music as perfectly as possible . There was some video here on RUclips of them, I am not sure if it's still posted.
@adwestmediairvine I saw rain a few years ago, and they killed it. especially on while my guitar gently weeps. I think they did very good, while they butchered some songs...like eleanor rigby...and they're one of the only bands that does the really cool time period switches. and at least their george doesn't use strats in a time when he obviously just used his country gentleman and casino. hahahaha
some of rubber soul was played on tour, but you're right, it was never played live. and there's nothing random about of, but they used a hell of a lot of gear in the studio, and it's okay in this case, but what if they play a deep cut like good morning good morning? paul played his rick 4001 AND his esquire on that track. all I'm saying is that they were touring when rubber soul was released so it would be less practically but slightly more historically accurate to just use his country gentleman
It’s hard singing while playing those basslines. Respect
Totally agree awsome!!!
He's a genius.
Yeah. That's true... that's why I left my bass & returned to regular guitar.
He’s gotta be the best Paul. Some very hard bass lines to sing over and he can play em all!
Nevermind that he was born right handed.
Boy, watching him play that bass line really helps bring done extra appreciation to the complexity of (many of) Paul's bass lines :)
George Martin called McCartney the best.
I'm super critical yet I think he sounds incredibly similar and this live no less. Not just the tone of his voice which of course can never be exact (but damn close) but McCartney's singing mannerisms, the melodic way he uses his voice..it's seems all there. This guy truly loves Paul no doubt.
The best Beatle tribute band ever !!!!
Most definitely!
Nice to hear tribute bands who will play all the Beatles songs not just the popular ones. I've notice some fans don't know a lot of the other songs which I personally love more than the popular ones. I'm from Liverpool in the UK the original Beatles home town and a massive Beatles fan :)
Agreed! I love all their songs, and the radio overplays the popular songs or only the ones that made the top 40. They had so many other great songs!
Agree 100% I'm 63 and my Dad was a sales rep for Capital Records 1957-1969 so our family grew up with the Beatles . Back then, here in the US , the radio stations of course, played their hit singles . So you have beautiful accent (British one).?
@@eobardgabriel7294 its called scouser accent and its hideous lol
This was my favorite track from Rubber Soul. I never hear it on the radio or anywhere.
Saw the Fab Four in person and they did a great show! If you closed your eyes and listened you could almost think you were hearing the real Beatles!
Big props to perform a song this challenging so well. One of my favorite Beatles deep cuts.
I've seen the fab four around 15 times. They are the real deal..no lip syncing no backing tracks real voices real instruments..amazing show. The meet and greet after was awesome really great guys..took picture after picture until they saw one that was good...SEE THESE GUYS IF THEY PLAY NEAR YOU !!
the best cover beatles in the wold!!!!
He’s hitting a high Ab on end of bridge . That’s high, especially in full voice. Paul’s voice was remarkable always in all ways.
I love listening to the fab four sing
That too was superb!
amazing to see the beatles still going. john still has an amazing voice!
Best Beatles tribute band

I certainly could hit these notes when I was playing back in the 70's.
Pretty damned good!

Love these guys.
This was the 50th aneversery of rubber soul i have been there.

That was really good. Nice performance.
I agree, I have 3 of The Beats CD's but as an American, I may nere see the Beats. As for these guys, NO one does it better here in the US!!!!

brilliant cover band. Just watched them do 'I'm looking through you'.
A pity the terrific bass is not more in the mix.
Will someone please film them and again and upload.
I'd pay good money to see these guys, and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Alive and dead.
You're right. The I'm looking through you cover has an incredible bass sound. Try The Bootleg Beatles. They're even better.

BEST BEATLE TRIBUTE BAND EVER THE MCCARTNEY SHOULD MEET THE REAL PAUL AND SING A DUO WITH HIM
Good effort, he sounds almost like the real Macca.
I love my macca mccartney
Wow! Now I'm impressed Killer bass, huh? That's how to sing!!!
Writer, lead vocal: Paul McCartney
When I call you up, your line's engaged.
I have had enough, so act your age.
We have lost the time
That was so hard to find,
And I will lose my mind
If you won't see me,
I don't know why you should want to hide.
But I can't get through my hands are tied.
I won't want to stay,
I don't have much to say,
But I can't turn away
And you won't see me,
Time after time
You refuse to even listen
I wouldn't mind (no I wouldn't, no I wouldn't)
If I knew what I was missing.
Though the days are few,
They're filled with tears.
And since I lost you it feels like years.
Yes, it seems so long
Girl, since you've been gone,
And I just can't go on
If you won't see me,
Very good boys!!!
Superb !

Closest thing to seeing the real Beatles there is!!! No one beats the Fab Four!!
Brilliant
Beautiful :)

Jayne Falconer boy do I agree with u Martha my dear, I'm only sleeping, and your bird can sing just 2 name a few
Who can tell the reason for 59 dislikes? I can't figure this out.
wow, john and paul, ringers
Great cover. The Paul guy sounds great, and from what I can hear of the John guy he sounds good too. The George guy looks his mic stand is too low lol.
I'm not an expert, but is "Paul" really playing the bass?
Val Baladjar yes
Cut him some slack. At least he's left-handed.
nope, ron said in an interview that ardy is right handed, and he relearnt instruments left handed for the band Jim G
He's playing the right notes
Yes
I did not know it was a cover band until half way through!
This is fantastic quality audio. Do you have and would you upload the whole show?
😍😍

@adwestmediairvine Interesting, I dont know about Rain's George. I don't know.
There was a time when no band could play a decent cover of a Beatles song. This band broke the spell.
Didier

you should hear Beatles juice they are good to is the singer of Boston
The singer of Boston is dead

love this tribute and think they do a good job on this song. Only critique is the driving guitar is the wrong sound.
