I LOVE the idea of making Transformers toys into puzzles! I mean, the regular toys themselves are already crazy fun, but to do this with practice and fluidity... it would be addicting.

Believe me, touch toys edited this video to be 4 minutes. It took me an hour to turn him into a gun, and an hour to turn him back into a robot. That was partially because I was being careful to avoid paint chipping, but either-way if I wasn't being careful, it would still probably take me 30-40 minutes.
I remember the original G1 figure this one is waaaayyy more complicated to transform I'm very impressed by the modern day figures that are fully poseable and look like the cartoon
All these newer retro Transformers on touch toy clips make me want to collect toys as if I was 8 years old agian and Im 43 years old! This one is close to the original more plastic but spot on! #neato!
I still like the metal in the originals. Megatron had some weight and it felt cool in your hand. I wish they would make them with some sort of metal like the originals.
This guy makes it look super easy lol. First couple times it took me around 45 minutes to go from bot to gun back to bot. I remember seeing a forum post back too about a guy wanting someone to face time him to walk him thru the steps cause he got half way thru and got lost lol.

Funny thing about pistol megatron is that when he transforms into a gun he shrinks into the hands of whoever decepticons who wields him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The toy version is truly AWESOME!!!

He can pull the trigger himself now. Afterwards, He immediately destroyed Starscream, Somewhat Ultra Magnus, parts of Unicron, etc. Even as a tank and a jet, he can still fire his fusion cannon. Now, he's mobile.
That was the most AMBITIOUS transformation I've seen! I LOVED MEGATRON from the old 80's cartoon he was my favorite (Along with Prime-lol) I NEED THESE TOYS!!!
I love looking at Transformer toys. But they are so fragile, especially at the joints. My original G1 Megatron broke within 10 minutes of normally playing with it.
All I can think when watching it being transformed from gun to robot was the flippin' ridiculous amount of technical stuff like how the heck did they figure out how to model these things and even more how to model them so they work. It puts my 3d modeling skills to utter shame. I could only dream of modeling something so advanced and so intricate as well as functional.
I'm an Mechanical engineer and for who ever created CAD model for this toy then maching the mold to turn it is into live will have all of my respect !!!

I got the original as a gift, back in the 80's. What a pain to transform! As I recall, he ended up broken b/c we transformed him too much.

They do. Almost all of Takara's toys have metal feet, and usually some internal metal parts. It's amoung the reasons the figures are so expensive.

These are truly remarkable designs. A lot of Transformer designs have bulky bits sticking out, but these transform between two perfectly smooth forms.

TrueMohax Megatron was able to fire on his own. Just having Soundwave, or Starscream firing added that extra kick for viewers.

It was 1990 summer, Transformer was on TV in China along with World Cup. A kid in my neighborhood had this toy. Pretty impressive. :)
