one year later i left NIT-Bhopal and i joined IIT Jodhpur. I wasn't happy there either.. because now i wanted to study at top IITs..

As we go out of our student life, and enter into professional life, we realize these things and formulate logic blocks in our mind.

      @@Dwarakadishdas HARE KRSNA !.
The movement led by Srila Prabhupada of ISKCON is in line with Krsna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who was Lord Krsna himself as stated in Srmad Bhagvatam as Golden Avatar the hidden avatar. This is the only way 8n Kaliyug to attain divinity, eternal association with Lord with whom we are eternally related and to attain this we the few souls have Bern given the human form nor this form is not required there are 84 lakh species to be born in. In kaliyug humans generally do mostly nonsense practice in the spiritual path rather than doing what the Lord has instructed particularly for that yug. In Kaliyug only the chanting of the HARE KRSNA MAHAMANTRA " HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE " is recommended to cleanse the mind and intellect which is now impure due to "Lust & Greet" since the name is eternal and powerful and is Lord Krsna himself. The Lord has manifested in his personal divine form in the name therefore it is the most powerful. Just think e try one how much merciful the supreme Lord Krsna is. However we are so fools and rascals that we go on doing many other things to attain him rather than listening and doing what he personally has 're commended. This is the reason that most of them are ultimately not getting anywhere in the spiritual path which off course he realizes at the time of death however then it is too late. Those who listen and practice as is recommended the only path by Lord Krsna and his designated representative the Diksha Guru are the only intelligent souls in the human form in this EARTH rest everyone is a fool. As far as ISKCON is concerned only ISKCON bangalore let by Prabhu Madhu Pandit and a few across the world are the only one who are following the instructions of Srila Prabhupada rest are not following him therefore there preaching has no effect in the world in the present time therefore you can see the result now what is the position of the world , not at all good. PEOPKE CANT EVEN LEAVE EATING MEAT HOWEVER GIVE LECTURES ON BHAGVAT GITA THIS IS HYPOCRACY A SURE PATH TO HELL AFTER DEATH Haribol !. To the service of Srila Prabhupada & Nitai Gour !.

If you wait and I come back you can eat two of them." So he ate the candy right away and then waited and was expecting another one. The question was not asked correctly. Also there was no negation in the statement. If he was told specifically that he will not get another candy if he ate this without waiting for the instructor to return, he might have not eaten the candy.

      Hare Krsna !.
Does he accepts to follow and make the entire mission to follow the world's of Lord Krsna to Arjun that "Patram, Puspam, falam, toyam yoga bhaktaya pranasyati" means I only accept fruits, vegetables, leaf, water, milk . That is what a human can offer to me these are the food I accept and nothing else. He is giving lecture on Bhagvat Gita however is not following Lord Krsna this very important instruction rather eating meat means supporting violence for selfish tongue satisfaction. Such lectures don't benefit the public in general since to lecture on Bhagvat Gita one need to stop doing sins. Hare krsna!. Haribol !.

I assume You have the believe that thoughts has the power to drive the soul towards what it needs... I was praying to Lord Krishna to give me some guide to control my desire and to practice what is right... That's where I came to your lecture on Swami Sarvapriyananda-"BHAGVAD GITA FOR STUDENTS" at IIT Kanpur... It fed me what I suppose to do and practice in order to achieve my goal... Thanks to you Swamiji for leading me in the right path...:)

I have been studying through the teachings of the course in miracles. Christ consciousness. At the beginning of the book it states you will either understand all of it or none of it. Just lately I found myself questioning if I had understood anything it taught me over these years. Many fears arising lately... Listening to this talk I am so grateful because what Advaita Vedanta teaches is the same and I realise I do understand and know it is true. How beautiful to know they are the same teachings in self awareness. Thank you thank you thank you. Martyn

Try to learn on your own, do your own research, try to question everything which you have heard till now is true or not based on facts rather than your emotions. Do this, instead of being confined in your comfort zone.

Swamiji's teachings in the present talk were:
    "EQ >>>> IQ
    What is good for you?
What do you like to do/usually do? And what do you actually do?
Become aware of consequences before making a decision by monitoring your thoughts before expressing them/before taking any action, to Do what is Good for you AND straight away Eliminate/sacrifice other choices you have/thought of.
Be persistent to be consistent to get better results."

I am very happy to spend my time on watching this. The best thing about this is no emotional pitches to accept something like priests generally do. I have two small questions if any of the monk can answer them. 1st is many times in life you're put into a situation where there is something in front of you which is not yours and if you take it that can bring a big change (good) in your life (i am talking about Asteya). One may argue that might be destiny and god wants you to take it that's why he brought this in front of you and if you decide to not take it, that may not cause any harm but definitely nothing good is going to happen. How do trade off between these situations.
My 2nd question is why is it important to become a samyasi to practice spirituality. Why can't you do all the meditation while going to work, getting married, having kids, looking after parents at the same time. Parents raise you so that you can be their bread and butter during their old age. Isn't against our Dharma? Not to fulfil a man's responsibility in all forms?
I'll be obliged if you can spend a few minutes to answer my queries.

    • @LokiLoki
      @LokiLoki 9 лет назад

Dear Siddharth Here is Gita Chapter 5 verse 5
One who knows that the position reached by means of renunciation can also be attained by works (karmayoga) in devotional service and who therefore sees that the path of works and the path of renunciation are one, sees things as they are.
Becoming Sanyasi is not important, becoming Vairagi (renunciate) is important. Vairagi is one who lives detached whether he is in the world or not. in fact the world Sanyasa (Sum+nyasa) itself means he who has renounced everything, Renouncing from mind is the only way of renouncing, renouncing outwardly doesn't count, even for a monk.
