Cool video, but I wouldn't leave the calipers dangling on the break lines like that. Instead I would secure them with something.

Great video liked and subscribed. Have Hornet 2008 CB600FA too. Other videos state not to touch brake lever. I take it that its only way to check and clean pistons. I assume it's no problem as long as you bear down on old pad. Is this right? Thanks again. Hope to see more vids.

Vincent Daly Yup! It’s the only way to clean them off. I’m assuming they say don’t touch the leaver as you could pop one of the pistons out if you were not paying attention. Good luck!

Just bought same model with ABS. Have you replaced brake fluid. Great videos

Hey man, what are those break discs and what kind of pads did you use ? Thanks

Hey, I've replaced my pads and clean everything like you did here but both front discs are making constant squeaking noise and getting hot but rear not and cold at the same time. I'm not braking hard while riding and making them hot deliberately.
It's some friction happening and don't know why. What do you think? Have you had similar experiences?

Hummmm, sound like the calliper pistons are stiff. Basically you need to remove the caliper push out the pistons, change the seals, then put it all back together.
If the do pistons move freely then it could be the calliper sliders are stiff.
Clean them out and relube them.

Hey Risc, i have a honda hornet CB600f 2013 ABS model and where i'm living its hard to find motorcycle's parts, i searched for the brake pads with no luck, if you can send me photos of the brake pads you have before installation or the old ones so i can order them online that would be great

Yeah it can be a pain to find, I don't think a picture will help you much not that I have one for you. I got mine from eBay, try there.
