I finally got to try this recipe today, with a few tweaks! I can't use baking powder because it has cornstarch and corn is restricted from my diet, and it took me a few tries to find the right amounts for the alternative of mixing baking soda and cream of tartar. For the recipe's 1/2 tsp of baking powder, I landed on 1/8 tsp baking soda and 1/16 tsp cream of tartar. Then to tweak a bit more to counter the saltiness of the baking soda, I added 1/4 tsp raw unfiltered honey to the wet ingredients and 1 tsp of cinnamon to the dry ingredients to even out any blood sugar spikes from the honey. It was AMAZING!
Hi Mel, I have tried this recipe before but as I don’t have a microwave I cooked it in my air fryer. It took approx 10 minutes and turned out really well. So, it could be cooked in a regular oven too and still not take very long. I cooked mine just prior to lunch and in approx 20 minutes had a sandwich ready. Not too bad when you don’t have bread handy. Obviously I realise 9- seconds is better but you don’t have to do without if you don’t have a microwave. xxxxx
@@ginikuhn7834 Hi Gini, I baked it on 185 degrees centigrade in my air fryer, so in a big oven I’d say 200 degrees cthat’s 400 degrees f. Hope this helps and good luck xx

I also recently removed all grains and processed sugar from my diet, and can never find bread subs commercially. It's a terrible affliction. I get it too but I think mildly. I have a friend who can't get out of bed sometimes she is in such pain so I do get it. We like easy things here lol. I made this today! I was feeling a bit tired to cook and I didn't have anything on hand so needed something quickly. I only had ramekins so I made mini buns. I got 4 small pieces. They were too small to toast in my toaster so I put them in a dry heated frying pan. They toasted well there, and got a nice crust. It tasted a bit eggy. But once you have your sandwich toppings it scratches the need for bread. Thank you for the recipe. I have to try a true loaf with your CK flour. I have all the ingredients now, just need some time 🙂

I love bread too...and pasta lol. Also if you want to make 4 buns you will need to multiply the recipe by 4 because this recipe only makes 1 bun. I'm sure it will turn out better for you next time. Thanks so much ❤️
Made this now. I made with 3 tbsp keto flour which has coconut flour, almond flour, peanuts and flax seeds with one egg and 1/2 TSP baking powder and microwaved for 90 secs. Turned out just as you said.

I would like to know if you are planning on modifying the recipe to use with some actual flour like almond flour or nut flour or lupin flour. I find that the bread is very inflated and looks like a real loaf bread but it also looks like a large bread meringue! how would you modify the recipe I would like to know, then maybe ideas on substitutions. then i might make it. I would try myself, but I am lazy and have no patience for failing too much i get discouraged easily, that is why i watch these videos first. thanks.
Hello and yes...I've seen the many versions of the egg white protein bread. I did try making it a couple time but it deflated...so it didn't make it to the channel. Alot of people complain it's like eating foam too. Hello sure. I would say it definitely due to the change in my brand of Almond Flour. I used a brand called PBCo with the 90s bun and Kirkland for the bread. When you work out your own you will probably get similar results for both. Not sure how PBCo have fiber in their almond flour but there you go :))
I have used SunFlour in some recipes for almond flour. It’s sunflower seed flour and is pretty close in texture. I buy it from a small company in the USA

Last year I made a ton of 90 second bread. I really do like it. However I am in an elimination diet right now doing carnivore and I feel so amazing. I’ve cleared up a few of my issues. I am definitely going to try this one when I’m done. I quit so much almond flour I found myself just making stuff to make stuff do you know? I’ve gone from keto to dirty keto to I’m on vacation too I’m on carnivore to clear up my nagging issues.
Here’s a hint for all you newbies who want to try this make sure you’re baking powder is well Inc. I have done it in my smoothie machine and still got clumps of baking powder in a bite. There is nothing worse yuck

For me a large egg white (yolk excluded) weighs between 30g and 35g. I hope I explained that better 😊

i think this would make a great pizza base! add some oil to the bottom of pizza tray, place pizza with toppings, bake till pizza is crusty and golden brown and cheese is melted. delicious. i love how you have so many ideas for bread. thanks.

Last year I made a ton of 90 second bread. I really do like it. However I am in an elimination diet right now doing carnivore and I feel so amazing. I’ve cleared up a few of my issues. I am definitely going to try this one when I’m done. I quit so much almond flour I found myself just making stuff to make stuff do you know? I’ve gone from keto to dirty keto to I’m on vacation too I’m on carnivore to clear up my nagging issues.

Here’s a hint for all you newbies who want to try this make sure you’re baking powder is well Inc. I have done it in my smoothie machine and still got clumps of baking powder in a bite. There is nothing worse yuck
