I personally have to disagree. I think Flashpoint is by far one of the most overrated Flash stories out there and it is unfortunate that it overshadows other Flash stories like Born To Run, Return of Barry Allen, Terminal Velocity etc. which I think are a million times better.

The Flashpoint Paradox was a point in comics that reset the storyline bringing about New 52 (Basically just DC retconning the previous story). The Flashpoint was caused when Barry Allen tried to go back in time and save his mom and ended up corrupting the timeline, and ended up having to go back in time again and stop himself from doing it. Yeah, it’s crazier than it sounds. There’s a movie that did a really good job at depicting this called “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.” I recommend checking it out. It would be even better if you posted a reaction to it👍.

to clarify, flashpoint is the thing which caused the new 52. or part of it, anyway. flash could fix his alternate universe, but he couldn't QUITE put it back all the way because there were other forces at worse.
