  • Zoom's MS-50G MultiStomp guitar pedal combines the power of a multi-effects device and the flexibility of an amp modeler in a single compact stompbox. With its 55 custom guitar effects and amp models, an easy-to-use interface, onboard chromatic tuner and versatile power options, you'll be surprised at how much the MS-50G has to offer.
    Amp
    The 22 amp models provided here include emulations of classic and contemporary tube and solid-state amplifiers from manufacturers like Fender, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Two Rock, Diezel, and ENGL, each with its own distinct cabinet modeling that can be used to further alter the tonal quality. What's more, you can pair any amp model to any cabinet model for unusual, and often striking effects. The MS-50G also provides you with the ability to match the output of a given amp/cabinet model to the actual setup you’re playing through (options include Line, Combo Front, Stack Front, Combo Power Amp, and Stack Power Amp).
    Gibson Les Paul Studio
    The Essential Les Paul
    The Les Paul Studio embodies the essential Les Paul features with enhancements for playability and tonal versatility. The rosewood fingerboard and slim taper mahogany neck provide effortless playability and comfort. The 490R and 498T pickups provide tight, high-output humbucking performance and the two push-pull pots offer additional coil-tapping options. Top Tip: Go to an amp models 3rd page and turn off the cab sim whenever you plug straight into a real amp. That should open it up a bit - your amp has its own cab and speaker so you don't need to force the guitar signal through another emulated one first. Those simulations are best reserved for recording direct to computer or plugging directly into a mixing desk/PA. To me, my Vox Pathfinder 15 (combo) sounds as it should set to "CAB OFF" and "COMBO FRONT",

    Nice amps demo! to my ears the sounds are very mid focussed, almost mix ready when recording direct from the pedal, no need to cut much low or high frecuencies on mixing, more like leave as it is!

    So can you plug straight into your audio interface with an amp model and pedals for a half decent tone? Is that the intent of the models?

    Do you have any particular preferences? I'd be interested to know if there any of the sims feel significantly more responsive, realistic or more enjoyable to play than the others? I'm especially interested in how the Fender sims compare; I understand the FD Vibro/'63 Vibroverb was originally a later, premium, release for instance, so does that seem a 'better' sim in any way? I guess what I'm asking is, which are your favourites and why?

    • @ArtistMusick
      @ArtistMusick  2 года назад +2

      There are no favorites. I look for a sound that I like and then process it to match the music I play.
      in analog I love the Marshall 45/ 800 / 900 / and the BOSS Pedal
