It's really fun to watch blind prog on these fights. FFXIV leans heavily into 'hard to solve, easy to execute', even at the savage level you can be pretty confident there's a relatively simple way to get through even the most extreme nonsense. Big props on solo cooking, simply having fewer eyes to notice and flag things as important drastically increases the difficulty.

I cleared this fight week 1 and it was the hardest savage fight while still feeling fair. The dps check was difficult even with perfect execution. It required uptime strats and mini optomizations. My group was pulling strats from the race groups and figuring out what they were doing and why. Sometimes those strats were really scuffed so we would cook up some of our own versions of the strats. This is still to this day my favorite fight in the game alongside DSR

Psy didn't love the adds phase but he didn't get the fun experience of trying to keep him alive as he tried to kill himself on the lil' lightning guys.
