A covered song is always an interpretation or rendition from an artist covering the song. Mori and Darren sang the soundtrack beautifully enough for a child story called fairytale. Darren I think in this case rendered in a way of courting and how to convince his princess to come to his magical world. Mori as she is, a slayer of interpretation she will tell you a story and brings to a situation in a song. On the other hand the voice of Park(don't know him really) is superb. He reminds me of Martin Nievera, Philippine power house having that heavy voice but can reach high tone. His interpretation is like he loved so much his princess, he doesn't want to lose her. For Sohyang, I take she is a celebrated singer in Korea right? For me her combinations of her own tones doesn't harmonize. I apologize if this is the way I see this. That is why it is never good to compare and contrast unless it has something to do with research. E.G. same rice seeds observing its growth with different treatments...

Which is understandable, I am not sure if they have it now but before they don't have or prioritize English in their Academic curriculums just like other countries, their subjects are more on Mathematics, Science and History. But yes, these singers are some of the finest in Asia.

Both Darren and Morissette did a great rendition! Park Hyo Shin has this deeper, whole and powerful voice and I can understand why you look up to him - he's an amazing singer! I would suggest to look up the original singers of the song -- Brad Kane and Lea Salonga -- singing it 25 years since they recorded it, on Good Morning America.

Actually, our dear Morissette personally met Mr. Alan Menken, the man behind some of Disney's timeless hits, and of course the genie himself Mr. Will Smith in Tokyo, Japan when she got invited by Disney. She got the privilege to sing this song with Alan Menken where they praised the phenomenal voice of her. This song's version of her and Darren is truly astonishing. The way they deliver their emotions, the clarity of their voice, and the enunciation are just perfect. Nevertheless, Park Hyo Shin and So Hyang did a great job too.

That's why when it comes to Korean singers, I like those from the 90s to early 2ks. Like, Tei who san the song Poisonous Tongue and of course Park Hyo Shin and other male singers with this kind of texture/color of voice.
Mori and darren fit their voice with disney sound, so I like it better. But this doesnt mean theyre better singers than the others. All ofbthem are great in their own way.
Park Yo Shin's style seemed like a typical Korean ballad. It's a little breathy. Hearing his take in that Disney song gives me a feel of an older Aladdin character while So Hyang's seemed like a child version. All of them, no doubt, are good singers but the arrangement and how they adjust their voice to suit the characters being portrayed make the difference.

His voice are for those big and heavy emotional songs because i can feel passion in his voice, Soyang is good but in this case partnered with Park Hyo Shin leave her a miles a way, I think he should be partnered with someone who can match his voice from tone, clarity, soul, timber, presentation and passion. His voice is first class I love it. I'm not a singer but i love music. Damn!! i really really want to hear Park Hyo Shin's voice with Morisette singing in Korean song or any other song, i wonder how it will sound?! i'm dying to hear it.
Both versions are great but I still prefer Park Hyo Shin and So Hyang version. Maybe because I'm used on listening to Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle version of "A whole new world" in my childhood days...

The guy in Korea was brilliant but Sohyang was off key and yet Morissette was just plain PURITY AND MELTED BUTTER. That's why they were chosen to sing it like the original.

Actually, our dear Morissette personally met Mr. Alan Menken, the man behind some of Disney's timeless hits, and of course the genie himself Mr. Will Smith in Tokyo, Japan when she got invited by Disney. She got the privilege to sing this song with Alan Menken where they praised the phenomenal voice of her. This song's version of her and Darren is truly astonishing. The way they deliver their emotions, the clarity of their voice, and the enunciation are just perfect. Nevertheless, Park Hyo Shin and So Hyang did a great job too.

He is really good! Love the vibrato. And this kind of deep male voice is not that famous today in Kpop. Even Kim Joongkook has the tiny voice too. Well that's his natural voice. Hehe.
Coach, can I request SEE YOU AGAIN - KZ the Singer 2018?? She is a Filipina singer that instead of doing high notes, she specialize in song arrangement more. You will surely enjoy her performance as you enjoyed Morisette. They are friend too.

That's why when it comes to Korean singers, I like those from the 90s to early 2ks. Like, Tei who san the song Poisonous Tongue and of course Park Hyo Shin and other male singers with this kind of texture/color of voice.
The Korean singers did the version of Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle.
The Filipino singers did Brad and Lea's original version.
Mori and darren fit their voice with disney sound, so I like it better. But this doesnt mean theyre better singers than the others. All ofbthem are great in their own way.
Park Yo Shin's style seemed like a typical Korean ballad. It's a little breathy. Hearing his take in that Disney song gives me a feel of an older Aladdin character while So Hyang's seemed like a child version. All of them, no doubt, are good singers but the arrangement and how they adjust their voice to suit the characters being portrayed make the difference.
