Ultimate Iceland: The Best 10 Day Itinerary PART 5

This is our final video in our 10-day Iceland adventure. It is also the longest video we have ever made and boy did we fit a lot of fun things into our last 2 days.
If you're coming to Iceland, we highly recommend to rent a car and drive as far as you can on the ring road. We encountered so many special places. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time here!
In this video we did two amazing hikes, which we highly highly recommend to anyone, even if you have kids. They are a bit difficult but the views at the end are so worth it.
We also recommend the glacial lake boat tour. If you don't have kids or if you're kids are older, you can do the zodiac boat tours, which are a bit longer and more exciting. However, the amphibian tour was so fun and we are glad we got to share the experience with our kids. They had so much fun on the boat and were even able to play with some ice, which they thought was the coolest. Isla was so cute pointing at the icebergs and asking where the penguins were!
Diamond Beach is another cool place and even though we didn't see giant chunks of ice, we still found some smaller pieces and the kids thought it was fun hunting for the "baby icebergs."
We ended our Iceland adventure in the Hofn area, where we headed to a waterfall and made sure to stop at Stokksnes, with the iconic Vestrahorn mountain in the backdrop. The landscape here is stunning and definitely worth the entry fee. While the Viking village prop set was disappointing, the beach itself is amazing.
That ends our 10-day adventure in Iceland and we can't wait to be back someday and are already planning a dedicated trip to the north of Iceland.
Leaving Iceland, we are off on an overnight flight to Europe to continue this years' travels. See you in the next video. Thanks for watching!
