- Viewfinder is an amazing new mind bending puzzle game from Sad Owl Studios. While the puzzle mechanics alone are enough to want to play this game, I thought it would be interesting to dive deeper into it's story. Join me on this journey to see if there is any hope left for humanity or are we all doomed to live under a red sky?

It is a crime this game isnt talked about much in the gaming space. I loved it, and just finished it today. I felt so sad for Cait. #justiceforcait
I’m not too sure what happened to Cait, but he was a sad
The ending of the game is pretty fascinating. It proves that the simulation can actually "clone" plants into real life. In other words, with the combination of the whole team, Hiraya's atmosphere, Leung's codes, Mirren's camera, humanity can actually clone and grow plants in the simulation and bring them to the real world in order to save it. If there's an extra episode, I believe Jessie and the scientists of the current Earth would try to recreate the simulation and work from there. And of course, an infinite CAIT!
"The whole team."

Talk about perfect timing. Just finished this game for the first time but felt like I was missing part of the story. Thanks for filling in the gaps! Great recap!
I like that your voice kinda resembled Cait, which just makes the explination feel more real
I got to the point where the Weather Disruptor is discovered to be non-functional and I felt lost overall. I was trying to read all the notes and listen to all the logs but apparently I missed some of them. With your video, it makes sense. Violet was part of the problem, not part of the solution. Thank you. Going back to the game now 😊
Haha really glad this helped! I had a lot of fun disecting it and trying to figure out the story!
Amazing game, thank you for helping me understand the story better 😊
Glad that it helped! Such an amazing game!
I just finished this game. Give me sooo much feels. Can’t believe this game isn’t talk about enough. Thank you for your insight! I like your theory, I’m thinking Mirren caused it and her self efficient violet buildings messed up the environment. Man it was so sad to turn off the simulation, Cait was so nice. 😢❤ He just enjoyed having a friend in the simulation
Just finished the game an hour ago. Loved your breakdown of the story and it sounds pretty spot on to me. Thank you!
Thanks for so detailed explanation! This game is so underrated. It deserves much more community
And I thought we'll use our own photos to go through them
I mean, the confusing puzzles were great and all, but the plant coming into the real world broke my brain
Yeah there is a lot about it that is trippy to imagine haha
my take on the ending is that the plant crossing over into the "real world" is actually a clue that the whole world, including all the people, is a gigantic version of their original simulation. We know that they were able to make thinking and feeling AIs, so because she couldnt fix the real world she recreated it inside the simulation. Now the protagonist - AI beings have a way to save their world, but at the cost of knowing (and keeping secret) that their existence is simulated :S
Wow! That's pretty cool. A little dark interpretation but I'm here for it! Thanks for sharing, that would definitely be wild!

Thanks for this! I’m curious, did I mishear during Mirren’s chapter or did both her and CAIT say that sound travels faster than light?? That… is quite obviously untrue. Did they just mean in their simulation or something? So confused why they put that in there before the speaker puzzles
yes, I've also noticed that but have no idea what did they mean
I think most of the characters are filipino?
