@@paltuchakraborty7980 nah friends, they clutched india whenever america tried to harm india, Russia's sanctions and influence was the only reason we weren't greatly harmed, they were also the ones who protected us from the combined attack of America, Uk and China in 1971 which would have demolished and humiliated us, this is a time tested friendship and that's why I don't blame india for supporting russia because they did when india needed help.

Russia now is taking some wise decisions. Since they have too many sanctions already imposed on Russia. Since they have a lot of supply chain issues etc, so now to keep Russia running they can sell their already proven technologies to other countries and use barter system to import engineering equipments instead of technology. This gives a lot of benefit as Russia need not export any tangible heavy goods to any country but it can get a lot in exchange of their technology transfer.

Puddin is untrustworthy and no contracts are readily complied with on his side and India should carry out its own research and development of Small Modular Reactor and seek help from Japan if necessary as Russia will be AWOL for the foreseeable future. Russia isn't a friend but seeking to increase its influence when this has been damaged by the policies Puddin is pursuing.
