@@SurvivorJelena I like the blue 😉
Thanks @Blue Omega. I like it too 😀
I’m having symptoms but I had a colonoscopy 4 years ago and they said I could come back in ten years. No blood though.
Thank you
You're welcome.
you were rigth...we needed to push the doctor for more tests, until ..reasons for symptoms are answered
Hey Jelena please answer!
I've constipation issue since childhood. So bleeding while passing stool during constipation was always normal for me. Also I've health anxiety.
Long story short, I go to doctor it was my first time she said I've fistula.
I took the 7 days course of antibiotics. After that they say there's nothing.
But after this incident I become super focused on bleeding.
I increased my water intake so constipation didn't occur no bleeding.
But few days ago I was slightly constipated I went to washroom pass stools (no bleeding) then after 2 hours I went again and urinate only and I noticed mucus 70%with slightly blood 30% in it. Then again I went to washroom after 1,2 hours and pass stools again there's no blood.
Means I've only noticed blood after constipation. Not in stool.
So what's your blood in stool symptom?
Was it continous?
Was it occure without even passing stools?
Was it minor?
I had only minor that too during after constipation.
Is that serious?
I've so stressed rn.
Please answer in detail your blood in stool symptom. 😕😕😕
Im so scared, recently my stool is looking a ruler or a ribbon aside from that nothing else should i be worried?
Blue suits you.....
Thank you 💙
I've had abdominal pain & bloating for 2 years. Different from my usual IBS pain. I've had 2 occult blood tests, 1 in 2020, 1 earlier this year, both negative. Earlier this year I started seeing mucus in my poops - not a large amount, but visible. Part of me is afraid it is cancer & it's too late because it's been 2 years. I can't see my doctor til next March unfortunately.
If you’re experiencing symptoms I don’t think the blood tests are supposed to be used and a colonoscopy is the preferred test so they can see what’s going on. Get scheduled for March and see if you can get on a cancellation list so if someone cancels their appointment you could maybe get in sooner. Hopefully whatever it is it can be treated 🤞🏼
Do you have check up your occult blood test, what is your reassult.?
Can You Tell me,
How can you tell about the changes in bowel movemnets?
It helps if you know what your usual ones look like. Constipation or diarrhea that lasts more than a few weeks is cause for concern.
I had a lot of bright red blood in the toilet 1 time several months ago. None since then unless it happened while I was menstruating and I didn’t notice. My poop is all over the place but I do remember in the last several weeks passing a very large long stool. If you were me would you request a colonoscopy? Not sure if my doctor will listen, she’s the type to minimize any symptoms I have. Im 38 I don’t know much about my dads side of the family but I did have an aunt on moms side that had rectal cancer that she beat over a decade ago, she was in her 60’s.
I would track what I ate and what my bowel movements were like for the next few weeks and see if there’s a pattern between what I eat and what comes out. If there’s no rhyme or reason to the changes I’d talk to your doctor.
I had some of these symptoms and i did colonoscopy 3 years back.. There were small polyps but doctor said that there is no need of worrying that and i was diagnosed with IBS.. Do i need to worry about the polyps?? Cause i do have symptoms now like
excessive gas
Cramp
Narrow stool but no blood
When did the doctor say you needed to come back for a follow up colonoscopy? You may be due for another one soon. You should definitely call you doctor about the symptoms you’re experiencing and get checked.
@@SurvivorJelena actually he hasn't suggested for any follow up colonoscopy.. He said that i am having IBS and also said that there is no need to worry about the polyps.
@@vysakhmenon1972 the size and number of polyps found determines your follow-up schedule for colonoscopies. Talk with your doctor about your current symptoms and if they're IBS-related or something else.
@@SurvivorJelena ok thank you
I have just a little red blood on top of my stool the whole stool is not red I took pictures my doc said she is not worried due to me having a history of hemorrhoids I don't have pain with my poop sometimes I poop few times a day. Sometimes only a little comes out but about a hour later feels like I have to go again. No pain in stomach except I just had food poisoning about almost two weeks now still having minor abdominal pain on my left side to be exact
Hi.. Ur new subscriber here...
Hello and welcome!
@@SurvivorJelena i had symptoms and is afraid..u had backpains also jelena? Right flank pain? Anyway, they say symptoms may vary frrom person to person.. I had black stool for a couple of months..everyday bloated. High platelet count. Bruise easily..
I didn’t really have any pain before my diagnosis, but yes, the symptoms can vary a lot from person to person. Did you see a doctor for your symptoms?
@@SurvivorJelena ive been to a gastroenterologists and she told i was too young.. I was so disappointed by her answer. Just this morning, (im from the Philippines) ive visit an internist. And thank God she will rule out everything.. I have some laboratories done this afternoon and i will be back tomorrow..honestly,am scared..
I’m very happy to hear you’re seeing a doctor that is willing to figure out what is going on. Hopefully you will have answers soon 🤞🏼💙
Is it normal that the blood is there one time I go than it isn’t the other and than it is there again?
The bleeding can be inconsistent, which is why I wasn’t too concerned when I first started experiencing it.
Don't you had any abdominal pain?
Not really, just some discomfort from having diarrhea.
You forgot a condition.. Blood in the stool is also attributed to Diverticulitis/Diverticulosis.. Take it from a guy that knows all too well.....
You’re right. I’m sure there are even more things that could cause blood in the stool that I didn’t mention.
I had diverticulitis surgery two years ago (having part of my colon removed). I had 3 attacks in 6 months. It’s not a surgery they like doing on someone my age (at the time I was 41) but after 2 surgeons said no, the third agreed.
Diverticulitis attacks are unbelievably painful. I’ve had 4 colonoscopies over the years and it’s hard to get your doctor to take you seriously about symptoms (such as constipation) and thanks to Covid, getting tests done and in person appointments with your GP to request a referral to a Specialist have become particularly cumbersome
Excellent informative videos that more people should take the time to watch.
@@Leafgirl99 I've been dealing with it 20 years. Finally blew up last April. Abscess formed, burst and tunneled a hole into my bladder. Those are called fistulas.. 7 hour surgery and a colostomy.. back in october I had the colostomy take down. It was successful but due to scarring the surgeon cut a kidney ureter..another 6 hour surgery the next day. I had to have a temporary ilesotimy. That is schedule to be removed in december... so far, in 2020, I've had 3 open surgeries and 17 days in the hospital....
That is brutal my friend. Spending time in any hospital for any reason during Covid really sucks.
Wishing you the best of luck and a full recovery
@@contrabandjoe7974 You're truly a strong person. Sending my best wishes for great results and a better 2021.
I’m 26 and I have been experiencing symptoms for 6 months now. Some blood, not all the time, horribly sharp pain when pooping, sharp abdominal pain randomly throughout the day, ungodly gas and farting a lot, and unhealthy looking stool, and mucus discharge coming out of you know where. I told my doctor about it and they are first going to do an in-office anoscopy in 2 weeks to see if they can see anything with that before a colonoscopy. It does not require sedation. They will be able to tell if it is internal hemorrhoids, ulcers, a fissure, or worst case, a growth near the anus with that test.
I’m so sorry you’ve been experiencing these symptoms, but I am glad to hear you’ve brought it up to your doctor and they’re going to do their best to figure out what’s going on. Fingers crossed for you that it isn’t anything too serious 🤞🏼💙
