Please don't question yourself or compare yourself to others...your videos and the work you do are astounding. Good job
Ah, an excellent example of the Scottish 'box flattening' dance being performed in this. 😊
Haha not just Scottish! (Or maybe I do it because of my Scottish heritage) 😂
My mother was always angry when she was cleaning, don’t know why, but it stayed with me and I have a very hard time doing it..But watching You, Mac, Barbie and Bonnie is starting to change that…It’s getting better and better and I can clean without feeling anxiety…THANK YOU ALL!❤❤
What an interesting comment! Thanks for sharing!
My mom was angry too. I think it was because she was left alone with no help 😢 with 4 children.
Those of us who watch cleaning videos have (mostly) been watching for years...we understand that it takes hours or days...not 20 minutes
My hat is off to you!! I had 3 kids close together, hosted 4 foreign exchange students, helped my husband with his business, helped take care of his elderly parent, practically raised the kids on my own while he worked 15 hours a day to support us, and earned a master,'s degree.Whew! Then a few years later, my cancer treatments left me mostly homebound.

The courageous resident must be feeling so very blessed to have ya'll in her life. What an amazing gift you have given her. Stephanie & Danielle - YOU ROCK!
You are ladies are a huge gift to this resident. I remember a conversation I had with one of my daughters years ago: she asked why I made my bed, etc. I told her that making the bed was a gift I gave myself..it looks neat and calms the room. She hasnt forgotten it. A clean/tidy home is a gift we give ourselves.🎉
Wonderful mindset and this will help me to alter my attitude. Thank you!
I love how you both, and other cleaning channels are working together, sharing ideas, and learning from each other. Beautiful ❤
I can't remember where I read this, it's been awhile, but someone said that they changed their mindset about cleaning by saying " I get to clean my house today," instead of " I have to clean my house today." That even having a safe, comfortable place to live is a privilege, and we should be glad and grateful for our good fortune. I don't know if that resonates with anyone else, but it really changed my outlook. You and Danielle are doing great things, I'm so glad to be a part of your community❤❤❤❤❤
My childhood was the complete opposite when it came to the condition of our house. My step-father was a Vietnam era Marine and expected the house to be so clean we could eat off the floor. I remember having to be able to bounce a quarter off my bed spread at 5 years old. He would have us vacuum the CEILING to get the cobwebs off. It was an awful existence as a child. Being ripped out of bed at 6 am on a Saturday to clean the house. When I first moved out of my parents house and into my own I would allow dishes to pile up in the sink and rarely cleaned anything. I guess it was out of a sense of "it's my house it will look however I want it to". I'm 56 now and I can't stand a messy or dirty house. I'm not nearly as bad as my step father was but I think I've found a middle ground I can live with. Awesome job on this house ladies!!
Thank you Stephanie for your insightful commentary and for sharing some of your personal experience. I think what you and Danielle do is wonderful for those you help, and I'm also glad to know that it helps you, too. Hearing your words makes me feel more connected to you through your videos and I really appreciate that. Please keep it up! ❤
My grandmother was from Scotland and hearing your voice and accent has brought me so many sweet memories. She was such a sweet, loving woman.
Thank you both, ladies, for the fine job you do.
@@TamaraSanchez-kg2cd yes Stephanie has picked up quite a lot of the scottish accent
Thank you for slowing the speed down - I think you get to see the amount you get done even more. Great work as usual.
I love what you ladies are doing! This girl gained some fairy godmothers or aunties! I agree so much with what you said. I struggle with many diagnoses with mental health and one other thing I have found is to either bring something like a tablet with you to clean - I take my iPad wherever and then I am watching RUclips and cleaning or being the cleaning to where I would be if I wasn’t cleaning - like bringing laundry to where I am watching tv. I left a marriage with a lot of emotional abuse and ended up watching all 63 episodes of Breaking Bad while sorting things to pack and move. Worked for me. Love your channel and hugs to the resident.
So glad you were able to get out of that marriage ❤
@@magnoliaskogen thank you.
OMG that's E X A C T L Y how I feel about Styrofoam! I've never met anyone else who felt that way! My entire family knows I can't touch it.
Btw, you mentioned in an earlier video that some people don't like your accent. Your accent is gorgeous and I hope you never even try to change it!
I grew up in a house with an alcoholic father and a narcissist mother in denial of the actual situation. I became an obsessed cleaner from a young age. My room looked like it did not belong to the rest of the house. But what it gave me was control in some area of my life when I had no control anywhere else. I have continued my cleaning and decluttering ways. I enjoy it, it is peaceful and relaxing to be.
Fun fact: for those wondering about the eggs, unwashed eggs have a protective coating called a cuticle that makes it safe not to refrigerate them for a period of time. The best rule of thumb is to store the eggs in the same environment you bought them in.
I have heard the same about fruits and vegetables. Store them in the same environment you buy them in.
Really good video and very well done to Kyle at KB Recycling for offering that service, what a great help!
To the homeowner, I’m glad you reached out for help. It is a great place to start. I was in a bad place dealing with my mom in an assisted living, then transferring her to a nursing home. My perfect husband found a cleaning lady while I was away babysitting my grand dog and cats. He said I think you should call her. I did and we talked for quite a while along time. She has made such a difference in my life. Her very nice husband trims my yard and her son likes the cookies I send to him. It’s a win win for everyone. I am calmer and have time to sew for myself and charity. Keep going and thanks to Stephanie and Danielle!💙
I think you have the speed just right in this video ❤
You are an open minded, warm and generous person. The people you help are very fortunate.
Those silicone oven liners are a Godsend! Saves having to scrape the bottom - simply remove and wash in the sink - takes minutes rather than hours of scrubbing
You and Danielle did a fine job with that house and I bet the occupier shed tears of happiness when she saw the final result.
For myself, a whole house clean in one go is too much, so I get energised by watching videos such as yours and do intermittent spurts of tidying up. At the end of the day I ask myself "what have I done today" and hopefully am pleased with the answer.
Prayers to the young lady you guys helped in this video. Hopefully she is on the rode to recovery to a full and wonderful life. So glad she asked for help and she knows there are thousands out here rooting for her.
What a wonderful thing that the homeowner was able to ask for help, and get it. Bless you for your kindness.🎉
To all the people chipping in to help others...you are so awesome and leave the world a better place...as well as provide hope to all who are here!!
Helping this young lady is truly a blessing. For her and y'all. ❤❤❤
You’re sooo kind & the resident is very brave! The messiness of the house was just real life & it’s ok!
I like that you state that the house's condition is real life. That is so true! Life can be SO hard and messy. We all do the best we know how to do, or that we can do. The fact this young woman asked for and is getting help is huge! She's very brave and I'm glad she allowed you to share her journey. She has a lot to look forward to now. With your help and this channel I know there's an army of caring hearts rooting for her.
Bless her heart. Thank you for helping her.😻🙏❤️
Thank you for this video. It looks like her place to live is becoming a comforting home.
You are excellent cleaners! Be proud
So excited to be watching - been waiting all day for this video to drop lol!
So happy to have you here! 😁 x
@@fifefreecleaning my Saturday nights are so rock’n’roll - lol! Beer, pizza and watching your latest video - I am happy with that!
Oven racks. Use DRY steel wool on the dry oven racks. It "sands" off all the black burnt on crud
@@katihack6212 good tip
Thank you for being so inspiring and empathic, you're both a true blessing!
I absolutely love that you talked about the self comparison you experienced together. I recently learned the term "swimming in the toilet of self comparison" and I can't love it more. It really captures this phenomenon we all do, and should all stop. Please be kind to yourselves, and keep in mind you are helping a person in need. That, it itself is incredible. And so anything and everything you do is super appreciated and is enough.
Thanks for another great video, looking forward to seeing the rest of the series. Much love! 🧡
Yesss, I love long videos! Thank you for all you do!!
Oh wow Stephanie, you and Danielle did an amazing job in this video, you two got through so much. It was really interesting listening to you talk about motivation and associations with cleaning… I saw Mack’s video too and concur with what you both say - you speak very eloquently about it and you make a great deal of sense. The resident was very courageous to share her story and it is heartbreaking to hear such a young woman who has already suffered so much in her short life - I hope she gets the help she needs - you two have given her a wonderful gift. Looking forward to seeing the next instalment! ❤😘
Bless both of you for doing such amazing work! I hope you know how amazing you are and how much what you do is appreciated. ❤️
These videos show HOW MUCH THERE IS TO DO in order to maintain a home!!!!
So glad you are able to help this lady in this moment of her life when she needs it. I have a family member with schizophrenia and it's a very tough thing to go through. Thank you for your kindness and compassion and I wish this lady well in her future
I agree with the advice on motivation - I often empty the dishwasher while waiting for the kettle to boil for my morning cuppa - often that sets you up for the day and gets you in the right mindset
Stephanie your commentary was so lovely, open, fascinating, and full of fantastic insight, honesty and advice . Well done and look forward to more of you both to come - please keep the insights coming and thank you for all this.
Well done ladies. You are truly amazing to help people in need ❤
That's so nice of Kyle! I'm glad other people are finding you and are able to help you guys help 🎉
:D Eek! Garbage pictures! Love them! :D
Sensory things can be hard, but very glad that you have ways to avoid the dreaded noises of nauseating discomfort!
So happy that this resident has reached out for help. Wishing her the best on her road to recovery!
I thought your advice was great! And the work you did for this homeowner was very good! I'm loving your channel!
So sorry to hear this young woman’s story - as I have said previously I work for NHS GG&C - sadly there are so many people suffering with poor mental health as I have seen in my job. I hope this young woman gets help that works for her. We are so fortunate to have our wonderful nhs but it really needs proper funding badly.
You're a good person, thank you for making sure to let her know you weren't judging her.
Fabulous video! Timing, voiceover, and cleaning were all perfect! Y'all did a great job! ❤
I’m glad she asked for help. I understand some of her pain as I have a similar past. To know she’s not alone. I love to clean, I always have. I find it therapeutical. Keeps my mind busy on the task at hand and the time flies by. I love watching Mack. He’s has a wealth of knowledge and he’s so silly. I have good day x
Bless you 2 ladies for helping her to move forward in her life journey. May God bless you both with physical strength and emotional strength?
Thank you both for helping out this young lady.
I enjoy watching cleaning videos. I also watch Midwest Magic Cleaning, a beautiful mess, and cleaning with Barbie.
Thank you for sharing your tips and what works for you to motivate the desire to clean! I understood all of them and have used most myself with good effect... Appreciate the video and see y'all are becoming better and better at production: good for you! Lovely to help without criticism and your hard work is a real gift to the recipient. bye
Thank you for this lovely video. Sometimes brain chemistry can be a very real barrier to motivation. Even with a real desire to do it, physically making it happen can be impossible if your brain chemistry is off.
regarding the time of the video being misleading, i often wish cleaning videos would add in markers of how long theyve been working or how much time has passed. @nerdforge does this with their crafting videos by having a giant analog clock on camera while working, which is a cool approach.
the vacuum sounds were a good loudness level for me in this one!
You two are precious! Thank you for providing this service to those in need. You are angels on earth.
Oh my goodness this poor woman. Such a sad story. I’m glad she was open to receiving help. ❤
Everyone should strive to learn something new every day. ❤
Great transformation so far. I look forward to the other videos.
Everything you said resonates with a lot of people Stephanie, I also get my kick start from watching cleaning videos also lawn mowing vids ( 🤣 ) Thank you Ladies for your great channel, looking forward to the next one. Stay well, 💚🐝
You are doing wonderful and the format of your videos is perfect! I love your voiceovers, we can definitely relate to what you share! keep it up, sending love from the US! (also, the absolute courage of this client is amazing, sending her big hugs)
Ladies you are doing a great service. Your doing it Your way, and I'm sure the homeowner appreciates you both. Keep on keeping on!
You did a wonderful job! I got a revelation while you were speaking. I think the reason you may clean others homes better than your own or clean your home when you have company coming may reflect how you feel about yourself. It’s like we can put ourselves in such a bad headspace sometimes…like other people are worthy but we aren’t. I started realizing that about myself when I hit my mid 40s. It’s helped me a lot. I thought it might help you too.
You both did an amazing job in this house so far. Thank you for sharing part of your story with us, as well as the story of this resident. I also had a difficult childhood, an unhappy marriage and my only child is an alcoholic. I am an old woman now, and I can say that peaceful and happy times are just ahead for you both. I have accepted that I am on my own now, and I know I will continue to be happy despite my past. It has no hold on me now. You deserve every happiness in life. Hang on it will be here sooner than you think. Thanks from Canada.
So kind of you to help this person. I live in Scotland, and as a Midwest follower, and watch cleaning/decluttering videos for relaxation - and motivation. A lot of your thoughts about your methodology and cleaning experiences are very common to ADHD. Motivation, texture/sound sensitivities, decision paralysis, body doubling etc, look into this, it might be helpful. ❤
Bless her heart I'm so pleased to hear she's getting the help she needs. She has a lovely home from what we've seen so far and it will be a nice day fresh start for her. Hopefully she can manage to keep on top of it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be at home if it makes you feel safe and it will feel so much better if it's not filled with washing up and bin bags. Looking forward to the next one and I hope the lady enjoys what you've done so far 😊
Wow what amazing progress! I can’t wait to see the next videos. You did a fantastic job! It’s wonderful that you can help her, you ladies are a blessing! ❤
Another great post. You both have such great hearts! Your reaction to her 1st day apology note was so kind! Woohoo for Kyle, too!!!! I look forward working the next videos.
I have some sensitivity issues, too. My hearing issue is a little similar. When I get into a situation that I cannot avoid the sound, I can’t change where I am, the fact that the sound is happening, etc… I sing-loudly. I also will sometimes sing as I work when I have emotional reactions that need to be avoided (sometimes things need to just get done) or need to push through a task. It’s crazy (yeah, I know), and the neighbors have made comments-mostly they’re okay. And at least one 12 year old neighbor now knows of the late great Patsy Cline. Ha!
Many thanks for your videos - I love the content. The help that you are giving people is beyond words. Please keep up the amazing work.
Prayers for this lady! ❤❤❤
I noticed the drainboard. Excellent design.
A massive WELL DONE. You're a couple of fantastic young ladies. Good on you , absolutely BRILLIANT.
I've been living by the "These three things" rule for ages. I thought it was just me lol
Another incredible job!!!
You ladies are awesome ! Thanks for helping others 💖💖
For me it's balloons. The sound. The squeaking of balloon animals...it makes my teeth itch

I hate just chewing sounds 😂
When someone uses their utensil to scrape a plate. It is like a hot needle to the eardrum.
I'm glad the homeowner reached out for help now she can have a nice clean house you two did a wonderful job cleaning this house for her❤
It takes real courage to ask for help because of what she has gone through at such a young age that was such a sad story to hear but now she has recognised your problems and asking for help. Thank you ladies for helping this young lady get her home back in order again you are a inspiration to cleaning and helping people that needs help god bless you and the young lady it's people like you ladies that make this world better place ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have such a bad back so I do the “do a little sit a little” method.
thank you ladies for your video and your good hearts to help others out who cannot help themsleves.
God bless. i love what mac said too
She's so young and is only at the beginning of healing what sounds like a lot of wounds. I hope she gives herself some grace and knows that these things take time, healing is a life-long process.
Wow, shout out to KB for helping you guys! It’s amazing that you meet such incredible people in your cleaning journey. I wish him all the best in his business and hope you continue to meet more wonderful individuals who want to help in the future! And of course maybe even more collaboration between you guys and KB (who knows 😉🫶) ! 🥳🤝
The hacks you listed are great and very beginner-friendly. They’re not only for those wanting a cleaner environment but also for people seeking a fresh start in life. Personally, I love watching cleaning and decluttering videos; they always motivate me and offer great advice on staying organized. 🧼🧹🌸
I wish all the best to those who try out these hacks-you’ve got this! 🙏Thank you so much, Stephanie and Danielle, for creating such inspiring and amazing content. Your work helps many, including this young lady, because I think we all know how a mess can impact us negatively. You are heroines whose superpower is positively impacting people’s lives. 🪄✨Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🫶
I hope your channel continues to grow, and we can see even better quality videos as you gain more experience. 📷✨We see and appreciate your efforts! 😉🫶
VERY good video.
Camera angles much improved. I could hear you so much better. And I loved the verbal content. Mack from Midwest Magic Cleaning sure does know what he's talking about. Thanks for a great video .
Thank you for all of your compassionate, hard work.
I send so much solidarity and care to this resident ❤
👍Excellent video! 🩵 enjoying your channel very much. 🎉
I just had an aha moment when you said that you have to eat and you enjoy that. And after the thing is clean I enjoy it. It should never be associated as a bad thing. Just something to do cause it needs to be done. Instead of waiting all week and doing it all in one day. I was raised that cleaning was done on Saturday.
Poor lady has so much street noise. It sounds like she is next to a nascar track. As always you ladies did an amazing job. Such a cute house.
Thank you for sharing her story. Heartbreaking for what she experienced, and the outcome it has left her. The beauty of her rising above, getting help, and then you are there to be part of the process, is absolutely beautiful 🥰.
Thank you for being you 🥰
Your advice makes great sense. Thank you for sharing
I love your videos. You have such a soft, soothing voice. Thank you for what you do for people in need
Well done ladies, it's looking good so far. I can't wait to see the next installment.
Thank you I have enjoyed this very much and I think you both very much. God bless both of you 🙏❤️🌹
You two ladies are awesome I love watching you both work ❤❤
Really loved what you said in this video and I am looking forward to seeing the results from the rest of the house! You and Danielle did an amazing job!
Also: 'scurryfunge' = to run about tidying up before having visitors! Like you, this makes me stressed. The best way I can get stuff done is what my friend calls 'habit stacking' i.e. doing something while something else is happening, such as cleaning the shower when I am in the shower, unloading the dishwasher while waiting for the kettle to boil etc. It is not a perfect system, and I struggle with it all, but there it is.
Well done girls great work. Looking forward to seeing part 2 ❤
Poor soul,😢 thank you so much for helping her....GOD WILL NOT BE OUTDONE IN GENEROSITY....HE WILL BLESS YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND COMPASSION 😊
This is a beautiful house thank u so much for helping people in need I would like to do this I love seeing people happy 😊 xxx
Very good work day. You have a lovely calm voice to hear. Your advice was great. Good job ladies.
You make total sense when talking about associating cleaning and general house work with negativity. I left a comment on one of Macks videos saying the same thing. It almost like we are programmed to think that the upkeep of a house is a punishment and something to be put off for as long as possible. But as you said, we all enjoy the aftermath of a good clean. Maybe it is because some households had rules for their children where they had to do chores before going out to play etc. so it was getting in the way of having fun ?
Great job ladies 👏 Best one yet, looking forward to part two.
