I guess that would’ve been too much to handle for that car. So they went with the season 1 intro that didn’t feature the Rubbles. Plus, we weren’t introduced to Bam-Bam yet in the movie.
@@KWCline91 Well, it's the same car so if it's not too much to handle for the cartoon, it wouldn't be too much to handle for the movie where the director just would need to make sure the car would be big enough to fit Barney, Betty, and Bamm-Bam. Also yes, Bamm-Bam was not seen until 15 minutes of the movie showing how Barney and Betty adopted him but, the intro. here still could have had Barney, Betty, and Bamm-Bam being picked up by the Flintstones since they were all watching a movie together at the Drive-In Theater.
Fact The Flintstones won 2 out of 4 Razzies for Worst Supporting Actress for Rosie O’Donnell (Elizabeth Taylor was also a nominee in the category, she lost against O’Donnell) and Worst Screenplay for the 40 writers. It was nominated for Worst Remake or Sequel, but lost against Wyatt Earp
Yes hopefully to be sold to another network (it should be obviously get sold to cartoon network)imagine the film to start with the fan finding the lost episode and then the portal will open and suck him in where the intro music starts and the movie titles will appear
I dont care what the critics and haters say about this movie. It was a lot of fun. You could tell the makers of this were passionate about it, and it shows with the opening and ending.
I know the director Brian Levant was a super fan of the flintstones. If you watch a behind the scenes video, you can see all the merchandise he owned. That maybe a huge reason they perfectly recreated the opening and closing.
Let's take a moment to think about something. The story was just a movie that the Flintstones were watching the whole time. And Cliff dies does in the movie. However, Cliff is first introduced here before the Flintstones even watch the movie showing that he really had diabolical plans and wasn't an actor. So does that mean he still carries on his evil deeds outside of the movie? I know this is overthinking it, but still.

Trivia and differences between the live-action reboot and the original cartoon
The live action Jetsons takes place in 2769 rather than 2062
Astro is portrayed as a normal dog rather than a CGI one
Elements from the (Hanna-Barbera beyond) DC comics miniseries will be used
Instead of using the 60s version of sci-fi/future technology it will use our current era’s version sci-fi/future technology where everything looks so modern and not retro
It will have a Post-Cyberpunk setting rather than a atompunk setting
The comedy and humor will be replaced with black comedy and black comedy humor
The backstory For the world building of the Jetsons live-action reboot will be darker edgier grittier and more serious with the themes of war thermal nuclear/nuclear apocalypse wasteland and evil AI gone rogue
It will be revealed that the world the Jetsons takes place that the Jetsons live in was created thru WW3 that lasted from 2062 to 2070 (aka it lasted for 8 years) and takes place 699 years after it ended & orbit city and the floating buildings and floating cities & spaceships and refugee spaceships were built by the survivors of WW3 retreated into the first few floating cities and buildings and spaceships and space stations and refugee spaceships that were built & orbit city and floating buildings and cities became a home away from home for humanity to survive but the plot twist revealed the eye is the true cause of the Third World War after it turned sentient and declared war on humanity and in the aftermath of the third world war it took control of the human race and a large chunk of the Milky Way and it’s up to the Jetsons to defeat the eye to save the Milky Way
The people that would work on my version of a live action Jetsons will learn from the mistakes of the Flintstones Scooby Doo yogi bear & other live action Hanna-Barbera adaptations
Michael giacchino will do his homework and research on the Jetsons soundtrack in my version of a live action Jetsons
The same effects used for the Star Trek Kelvin timeline film series Tomorrowland 2015 movie (regardless of what you think on that movie) Battlestar Galactica (2004 series) and modern day science-fiction shows and movies and franchises in the present day etc will be used

YABBA DABBA DOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Somewhere at 0:32, shouldn't it have shown the Flintstones picking up the Rubbles because in the cartoon intro. Barney, Betty, and Bam-Bam were picked up but here on the movie, it wasn't shown?

Fact
The Flintstones won 2 out of 4 Razzies for Worst Supporting Actress for Rosie O’Donnell (Elizabeth Taylor was also a nominee in the category, she lost against O’Donnell) and Worst Screenplay for the 40 writers.
It was nominated for Worst Remake or Sequel, but lost against Wyatt Earp
STILL a better movie than the 2019 Lion King.
The amazing world of gumball movie
Steven spielberg
Yes hopefully to be sold to another network (it should be obviously get sold to cartoon network)imagine the film to start with the fan finding the lost episode and then the portal will open and suck him in where the intro music starts and the movie titles will appear
I must admit John Goodman makes a great act for Fred Flintstone, like how he acted as Pacha and Sullivan.
C'mon, Fred. just climb the window.

"We'll have a gay old time!"
Dang, this song did not age well!
I don’t know, but they probably added the movie theater to reflect back on the classic cartoon in the 1960s.
I feel bad for Baby Puss the cat
Lol they went to McDonalds lol
I wonder if this movie was the very reason McDonald's added the McRib to their menu.
