Bought a G 400 about 10 years ago because of how it sounded thru an amp like this.
Coming in a little late, but, I own both, and now have renewed interest in them. I thought this video sounded pretty darn good!
why is it that all the video for this amp are not mentioning anything about the back side? i want to know if you can do a line in with this amp.
Hi, thanks for time and review. I am looking at this kind of amp for live dance performance, where this amp is part of the stage set. I do need very nice sound - through this will be played piano recording, so preferably crystal clear sound (or as far as possible). I need something of this size. Please, would you recommend this amp, or some another one. I prefer to keep price low, but let's say 300, maybe for deal breaker up to 500€. Thank you once again!
How do you put your iPod with backing tracks on and play guitar along with with out head phones so you can hear your guitar

No, the 40GX doesn't have a loop station just effects.

, you have to install Looper yourself be sure never lie hit the front of the instruments there's a middle piece there that runs into mine just ate up my amp and I'm pissed

Yes, when you plug something into the headphone jack it turns off the speaker.

the moderator does a lot of "ahh" which is probably because he's nervous. Good demo but too many "ahhh's" Also, couldn't you have used a regular Stratocaster or Gibson. I don't believe the average player owns a Fender/Roland souped up strat. I think you hold the record for "ahhhh's"
What a poor commentary on human behavior. You have no clue what you are diagnosing here and his ahhh's may well have zero to do with being nervous and a lot to do with role modeling behaviors from his parents, his particular style of dialect, and the fact that he may just be tired, hungry, or excited! Poor as can be.
I like this demo cause I can tell the amp sounds like crap.I`ll go back to looking at the Orange Crush 35RT.

this amp is a shame. I own one. Sounds like plastic on all distorted positions, and NO dynamism

+Keksy Keksy i got rid of it: fender mustang v2 iii. price/value is much better. i m amazed by this mustang. roland disappointed me 2 times. first was an AC 60 which is only 30 watts only but sounds a but artificial and VERY expensive plus a cumbersome shape. and this 40gx: no "cheap" roland for a while. they just dont do that I need but d Fender.
