    Oooo, I just thought of perfect comparison. In the game Ghost of Tsushima, it’s the difference between Jin Sakai (Samurai) versus Jin Sakai (The Ghost). One is bound by honor and tradition thereby causing them to lose in a head to head battle against the mongols and their leader. The other came to understand the reality awaiting those who follows the honorable path and begins to utilize everything deemed “dishonorable.” Like Cherokee Bill, it’s not about who’s bigger, stronger or faster on the battlefield. It’s about who’s throat gets cut in the dark the night before.

    He never lied though. When jim asked him if he was the guy who was so quick he put two in someones back. Bill said, "nah, im the guy that shoots other guys for talking too much". Then stood on that sentiment when he was about to shoot nat in the back, by saying "do you always talk this much".

  • @DeaDiabola
    @DeaDiabola Год назад +322

    It's interesting how Cherokee Bill's expression is one of quiet reflection and sadness every time he kills someone, or is challenged to do so. It is a crime against nature that this isn't regarded at the same level as Jordan Peele films, because so much lied beneath the surface, and the art direction was excellent. I couldn't think of a single character I didn't enjoy watching, and I loved the sequence where Mary is being told about Trudy's first kill and the only person she loved- the way she slowly, slowly peeled the apple, round and round and round. The more skin that came off, the darker the story, until the apple is entirely unpeeled ...and there is no story left to tell. It was an excellent way to flesh out her character. I have nothing but positive things to say about this movie.

Unless cuffee said I am under the impression I am a man, or at the least I want people to believe I am one, then I'd say they are not trans.
      It's like if I had a friend that loved flying in their flight suit. No matter how much they do it, it would be silly of me to assert that they must be trying to become a flying squirrel.

    "Before he puts 2 in their BACK" explains Cherokee Bill's character as well. But what initially did it for me is when Cherokee Bill razor bladed the "hero" in the legs on the train. Tricked him into believing it was going to be a "fair" fight and quickly dismantled him.

    This is one of my favorite movies. It's so good. It's a shame it doesn't get more recognition. Hollywood needs more great movies like this and less superhero movies.

      Why does everyone put down superhero movies to make a point about other movies. There's room for everything.

    • @marcosraphael1935

      @@mrbigscreen123 my point is that superhero movies are the main focus of Hollywood for about 15 years now and we're tired. We want more variety, more original stories and overall better story telling. I can say majority of people are tired of the new superhero movie that comes out every single year. Meanwhile great movies like this don't get the recognition it rightly deserves.

    What I love about Bill is that he’s a left handed shooter. How often do you see in movies with characters like that? I think this might be the first time I see a left handed shooter.
