...oh dear, you "came back into my life" at just the perfect moment - and with the most beautiful "imperfectly perfect" guest....you both are my "multi-passionate sisters"... I Love You Both....I just can't Love You More....I, also have music, spirituality & love for helping others in "my tissues" . . . you both are my inspiration to work my way thru these, oftentimes, confusing life chapters with patience & self love instead of judging myself as a failure....God Bless You Both, So Much.... :)
I love your story Koya❤. Again, your story about your Olympic dreams and healing from the assaults, childhood stuff, etc., really resonated with me. I am healing now, with the help of you and others. 🥰
Yesssss!!! As a fellow multi-passionate entrepreneur hearing you say how others approached your diverse interests and how you perservered because it's in your DNA, made me love and appreciate myself for being the way I am. Bless You Two @Koya Webb and @Marie Forleo!!!
What you reveal, you can heal!!! I love her story because mine is similar. I suffered from religious trauma and physical abuse. I am so much better because I embraced my experience and then I released it. My mind, body, and soul have been liberated. Now I teach others to do the same.
This exactly what I needed from turning my limiting beliefs to liberating affirmations, exuding my multi passionate self unapologetically, doing my best to abide by a schedule, & turning my trauma into purpose! AMAZING interview 💖✨
This is the exact message I needed to hear today! My current job came to an end but I have been holding off on other new ventures because of the safety net of this old job. I want o move forward and be a creator and create a new future. Great interview and content!
Thank you both. Thank you Koya, for your strength, your vulnerability, and kindness. Your story truly helped me on so many different levels. This was a wonderful interview. Interesting, informative, a true gift. Thank you again for telling your story as a means to help others. Divine blessings always!!!!👍💕💜💕💜👍
Lauren so happy you enjoyed this episode and that it really resonated with you! Yes, Koya is an incredible individual and her story that she's sharing with the world. - Antoinette
I absolutely love Koya! I feel like I see her every week when I take her yoga class on the Alo Moves app 🤗 Such an incredible light beam in the world 💖 Thanks for having her on, Team Forleo!
I loved this❤. Fear is the most glorious horrific gift we are given, because it allows us to grow in the exact opposite way we feel comfortable with. So let fear be a visitor, but not your room mate. Thank you Marie for another amazing episode!
"I'm working on it" is something I said without even realizing during a conversation with a therapist, and she immediately pointed it out to me, how positive that statement is and how it doesn't insist you be perfect, it doesn't mean if you mess up once, it's over and you're a failure, it seems to simply say, I'm doing the best I can and I'm working toward something positive. So now whenever I get really hard on myself about my progress with something, my therapist will remind me to pause and say, "I'm working on it" rather than "I can't" or "I'm never going to get it" or whatever other defeating thing is running through my brain. I guess it helps to remind me that I'm actually taking action rather than already giving up. So I love that Koya talked about that sentence. It's definitely something I resonate with. Even when my brain is telling me, see, you still haven't figured it out or sorted it all out, and I forget that I AM working on it - it's always a good reminder to hear it. :)
Sherry thanks for sharing this! It's so beautiful to hear this realization that came to you. Progress not Perfection is a mantra has so much meaning. - Antoinette
I really enjoyed watching this episode from the beginning to the end. It gave so many inspirations and...Koya is absolutely amaziing! Her energy hit me to the core! My favourites quotes: "You are enough right here, right now" "You are not a victim, you are a cerator!". Thank you Marie for gifting us with another beautiful episode!
Lucia so happy to hear you enjoyed this episode with Koya! Her enthusiasm and energy is contagious but importantly, self care is so important. Thanks for being a part of our community. - Antoinette
I think a lot of people nowadays live in fears and stress because of the uncertainty of the future. We need amazing people like Koya who willingly help people become the better version of themselves. Thanks for sharing this video!
This was so beautiful. My daughter turned to this by "accident". What a beautiful synchronicity. I love how she said fears show you what areas of your life need more love. This is beautiful. Thank you!
Wow Koya, that story about you singing and how you closed that with recording and producing your own song is unbelievably beautiful; resonates so much with me 😊💖✨
We are all definitely here for a reason! This is so relatable because sometimes when you feel like you are doing everything right but things don't go the way you expected and planned it can be crushing. But sometimes we need to realize that God may have a different plan and it's a better plan so we just need to learn from the struggles and TRUST.
Amazing! Thank you Marie and Koya! Thank you for sharing this conversation with us! We love and appreciate you! The biggest aha moment I had during this conversation was about freedom in discipline. I was out of work for the last ten months or so and I have recently started a new chapter with a company that I resonate and in alignment with in terms of Core Values and Mission. Now, I am modifying my routine during the day to find balance between work and play (aka doing the things I am passionate about and that brings me joy and happiness), and not leave out self-care. Love and appreciation to all! Thank you!
YAY!---incredible to hear your aha moment and that you have shifted your priorities that align with core values for your work and personal life. - Antoinette
This was so important for me to see as a dancer who's gotten injured several times and being frustrated and sad as I'm very ambitious.. Thanks for sharing 💜
I Love Koya ! Ive been doing her yoga series on Alo yoga love the workouts along with the wisdom always 🥰 so nice to see two people i adore doing this😍
I can relate to this... although I, on the other hand, gave up realllll early on track and field and found myself taking dance in middle school where I thought I was so bad ( looking back I was so harsh on myself) after a year of taking this jazz/ballet class where the instructor also incorporated yoga to help our muscles warm up, I came to the realization of how much anxiety and stress I was carrying. With yoga, i felt the deep inner peace (the third eye explanation is something I became very familiar with early on but didn't stick with it). The poses may look easy but there is so much more to yoga than meets the eye. I can relate so much to this because I feel like I have multitudes of interest. Thank you for sharing this video. I needed that oomph. I have been a fan of your work Marie for a while now. You are an absolute delight! Greetings and many blessings to you both!
Marie, Can you do a Podcast on how you are learning to release your TRAUMA!! What have you found helpful to “ peel back the layers”, as it is a journey and you would be helping others including me to have hope and go on, using the tools 🛠 that you have explored that have helped you!!!!
There are things mentioned in here that I do and didn't actually realize I was doing i.e, scheduling a billion things I wanna do, because in doing so, it grants me freedom as Koya mentioned. "There Is Freedom In Discipline," even though some days the schedule won't be perfect.
I have a feeling my schedule looks and is used the same like Koya’s 😂😂😂 I am 62 but I have the feeling that we are so much alike in the way we do things. Yes, this was amazing and I’m really happy and gratefull that Koya and so many other young women are able to discover all this at a much younger age than I did. Thank yoiu for sharing your story 😊💖🙏🏻 #discoverenjoyfeelgood2
Thank you so much for this! I also share a lot of the DNA you both mention, have been looking for some clarity lately and then I find this episode 🙏🏼🙌🏼
